FA ban for red card v Redbridge - 3 games -
starts 28th Oct ( next Tuesday )

As for other - don't know latest !!

Jon Stephenson is gonna prove to be a very good signing, he gives our defence something that has been lacking, like defending.

So he'll miss the Witham game which is no big loss as we should really get 3pts there. But the next 2 games are Aveley and East Thurrock both going well.

'The London FA have informed the Football Association of the 35 day ban so John Stevenson's FA ban has been changed to suit.

He will now serve 35 days from 20 Oct to 23 Nov and will then be banned for the next 3 first team matches, as follows;

Thamesmead (H) 29 Nov,

Ilford (A) 6 Dec,

Cheshunt (A) 9 Dec.

Effectively, he is banned from ALL FOOTBALL from 20 Oct to 9 Dec.'

Sorry guys we need to support the FA over disciplinary procedures, the criticism should lye with Jon, what was he doing playing for a park team when registered with a Ryman league team.

He is a quality defender and although been with us for only a few matches he will be sorely missed. However, he and anyother players playing Sunday football should be told not to or to clear off, we should have a policy that when you've signed for the Town then you only play for the Town and not Tin Pot PH FC

Not really that Stupid as a 35 day ban is about a 5 match ban, 2 more than a Ryman Red card. But a 35 day Ryman ban would be about 7-8 game ban, thats why they should steer clear of any other footy.

The step 5 and below rule is a good one as its according to the football your playing, so if our boys want to play that level they also need to take the rules to heart too but should our gaffer be taking on these players? we definately need to take Jon on board but not with the Sunday baggage.

Fair point - I wasn't aware of the full reasons for the ban, I thought it was for cards picked up recently. I must've missed the news about Jon playing for another team.
