The badges are due to arrive today.

The membership cards are awaiting collection.

 

We will be offering subscription from Friday night at the quiz night, after that it will be available pre match and half time in the club shop.

Nice to get a few names down for the supporters club already tonight,a few old faces also contributed to the supporters association in various ways and we thank them for it.

It was great to see so many of you turning out for our first official event.

A great night was had by all and we were supported by people from the first team,right down to the junior sides,absolutly fantastic

So far the supporters club seems to have become a success

We have over 50 members so far with more joining every week and others who have pledged to join

Our first few functions have gone down well and there are more on the way,hopefully next week we can open the club up for all supporters at least once a week.probably a thursday although if popular this could be increased and for any events,we have a meeting for the committee members tonight where this and things like the xmas party etc will be talked about.

We have purchased 2 Darts stands with boards and mats,not just for the darts event on the 26th november but we hope to be involved in regular matches against other local sides and other clubs,not just football.We hope that this will bring more people into the club to A)spend money behind the bar and to encourage people to become fans of the team

We decided on the darts stands as we can move them about,take them down and they do not damage the walls.

I beleive colin has a pool table and this will be going into the club,will speak to him tonight to find out when,hopefully we can have darts/pool tournaments among ourselves as well on a regular basis

Just a thought,if the club was open for live football on a sunday,how many of you would turn up,could maybe fet darts & pool going then as well as footy???
