Chinola - I think it would be a good time to play a lot of hardest games, on paper, in August. Holidays, lack of competitve football can affect teams early on so it could be good for you

Hopefully you guys ill have that problem when we visit in August....

True, but I also remember our third game of last season, an away trip up the A10 and I having to play myself in the 2nd half :)

- that day it certainly didnt work in our favour.

away on opening day again! at least it aint in Luton. Tough first game theyre a fit an enthusiastic side and I always hated playing there in summer, although I did outscore Jefferson Louis in a game there just before Cliff Hercules took him to Aylesbury........he must have missed my goals lol

Chinola - you must be getting old, as

Your 3rd game you won away 4-0.

Your 3rd League game you lost at Home 0-2.

Maybe that's how comes you had a bad game you were at the wrong ground?

you are right - we lost 4-1 in the 2nd league game and then lost the 3rd one 2-0 - so all in all the early season theory didnt work for us last season in the league, although we did ok in the early season cup games!
