No one wins the league in November

I think we were all a bit shell shocked from the collapse at the end of last season from a commanding position but we do have a better squad and dare I say a better management team (we do seem to have a plan b this time). We always find a way to get a positive result and if you look at that recovery against Haringey (which was amazing) , you do start to believe it’s going to be your season. Get through December unscathed and I’ll start to believe .

There were three or four teams in the offing to take the title at the start of the season.

We have had an amazing start and have built an impressive squad. We had six players from last seasons squad in the starting eleven and two on the bench yesterday, so our core is still present with some great new additions.

I have total confidence in what I have seen so far, in that we will be there if we continue in the current vane of form, enthusiasm and desire to win.

The season is long and I will never forget boxing day last year for our clash with Bishop Stortford. Christmas cheer running high, but a rude awakening and the start of our Christmas/January hangover.  and as we know football is a funny old game and a lot can change. 

So let's just believe that we are a great team, with a great opportunity this season.
