I think the last manager to play as a player manager was Dave Cox. 
We also have Arthur Wen born and of course Jim McFarlane who played when he was assistant manager. 
Dave Cox only played once as a player manager and this was when Hornchurch were short of players at an away match

Why so few players available?

Greenidge, Phillips and Weston are on loan, have they gone back to their clubs?

Seems strange to have released Ade Yusuff at this point in time.

The loan spells for Greenidge and Phillips have now ended.

I don't know the situation about Ade but suspect he wanted more first team opportunities (understandibly)- may not have been down to us

Alex mentioned a squad update in his programme notes from Tonbridge - we do need a few more players…

Ebbsfleet have announced that following Philips loan spell at Hornchurch his contracted has been terminated by mutual consent.

Does this mean he will be announced as a permanent signing?
