Time for a moan

Bloody celebrities.

Why is our telly, always full of these bloody awards programmes. All they are are they same old mob (example twats like that Adam Woodyard, that Essex Bird who is shacked up with the ex Canvey player, bloody Cilla Black, Ulrika and many many more)turning up for a free p*ss up making idiots of themselves, then getting their mug shots in the paper and making more bloody money.

How many award programmes do we need for F8ck sake?

The other day there was an award programme for real heros, who had saved peoples lifes etc. Good idea, but what happened, it was hijacked by an audience full of.......celebrities patronising the real heros.

Then we have celebrity fit club, celebrity fat club, celebrity changing rooms, im a celebrity, etc etc etc. Also we recentl;ye be inundated with loads of "it all be alright on the night" type programmes where everyone thinks it's great to hear celebrities who are normally well behaved say "f&ck" on telly.

Wher have all the real programmes gone, will any one ever make another classic like Fools and Horses.

To top it all Blair licks the ar$e of all these celebs

God im mad!

We tend mainly to watch BBC2 in our house, and are selective with Channels 4 & 5, and so our "televisual needs" are pretty much served.

As Fleet Boy said, ITV is just a [****!!****] channel - there's little more to say than that - and BBC1 is full of docu-soaps and DIY [****!!****] programmes, where they spend our license fee money doing up the houses and gardens for a load of wasters who can't be arsed to do it themselves.

If you're gonna spend our license fees on a Ground Force or fking Home Front, then do it for people who are more needy, such as the disabled, elderly, or a public-service building, like a community centre.

Not for some corner-shop owner who's too busy ripping off customers with his high prices to get out in the garden and dig it over himself!!!

Wasn't the premise behind television broadcasting to "educate" "inform" and "entertain"? Can't remember if "enrage" was included!

I apologise for suggesting that you watch such shows on television, Boroman.

The BBC needs taxpayers' money for its educational programmes, which are still well regarded abroad, but they should finance programmes which compete with other channels and are not educative on the same basis as those other channels.

Agree with you Unc, in Belgium and most of Europe they turn a blind eye to prostitution, end result women are safe to walk around after dark in Belgium, Holland etc.

Not that I want a prossie, I am speaking as a spokesman for common sense. I have Mrs Flag.

Loved that last comment Mark. Don't need a prossie...you have Mrs Flag! Don't let her see that!!!

Reminds me of that Men Behaving Badly episode, with the immortal line: "What's the fun in biscuits if the biscuit barrel is always full"
