You heard wrong my friend.Abbey may struggle to get their facilities up to scratch.But i can see no reason why Enfield Town could not go up.Have you been to our ground recently.?I would say it's easily a match for Burnhams ground now (if not better),although maybe not as pleasing on the eye.

You'll find that the pitch is a huge improvement on last year due mainly to the hard work putin by Frank Cartwright and Roy Butler. So impressed are some other clubs that they have sought Frank and Roys advice. I can only think of Romford's pitch being any better than I have seen this season.

1.ETFC have 7 years left on a ten year lease,and you only need an 'option' with the landlord for the remainder.There will be no problem there.

2. Towns pitch is now as good as Burnhams.Its been transformed this season.

3. Maybe step 4 will reqiure proper seats AND covered terracing being the goal in the near furure.Will Burnham meet that requiremnet.??? Town will. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

p.s. i was watching the bowers game and it looked a lot better but when we played their beginning of the season it was diabolical.

Being a Romford fan and thinking our surface is okay, I must admit that the Burnham Ramblers' pitch was par excellence when we played there in December..Despite cyclops scoring...grrrrrrrr
