Anybody seen todays issue of the Non League Paper?. Mr Westley Esq is mouthing off already (its only June)and saying that Stevenage WILL,!yes, WILL!, win the title next season.Why dont you just go away you silly little man <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />

I see the world (sometimes) through blue tinted glass' so when Jose came in last year I said he's great for English football, he's not arrogent, he's confident.

 

But when Westly does it it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.

 

Plus we all believed Jose when he said he would deliver the title with three games to spare, in his first season (plus the Carling Cup along with the Semi Finals of the Champo's League), but I just don't believe Westley.

No he does not understand the Laws and Rules that are put in place and so far nor do Chelsea as a whole!!!

 

I am getting more and more annoyed at the amount of times that chelsea continue to break the Rules!

 

However I am disapointed with the amount they were fined over the Cole tapping up affair! £300 K is not a lot to the Richest Club in the World!

What rules have Chelsea broken? I think you'll find that the governing body in place at the moment found Chelsea guilty of breaking one of their laws, Chelsea will appeal due to that perticular rule being a farce as it is uninforcible.

 

Everyone "taps up" now days, players have agents. These agents (also know as vermin) can talk to whoever they like, they can walk into a public place and talk to representatives of any club without breaking any law and no body can do anything.

 

Chelsea could have met with Coles agent privetly and probably signed him with everything looking coacher, but still have tapped him up, only in a different way. That way they would have gotten away with it and no one would have been any the wiser.

 

So all Chelsea are guilty of is being arrogent for meeting Cole in the open and in a public place.

 

To put a law on tapping up is not the way to prevent this sort of thing from taking place. The game is now it's own victim. It is so big and such a money making machine that whoever wins has the most money and vice versa.

 

Meanwhile the bigger clubs with the more money get more success, the better players and more of their own way but the only way they can maintain this trend is to keep the success coming and the only way they can do that is makesure they buy the best players.

 

Chelsea know how the game works and make it work for them becuase they are a business, success = customers. Thats all it's about now for Chelsea.

 

Chelsea have some sort of "God himself could not sink our club" mentaility. Then the Titanic left Southampton....... the rest, as they say, is history. EU Constition? The whole of Europe (and as far as they knew back then, the world) was run in Rome. Empires fall like leaves in September.

 

It will happen to Chelsea (although I hope not), but at this moment in time they have control on everything. If they want something they get it (and sorry Jim, can I call you Jim, that includes Frank Arneson), they don't care about rules.

From what I have been hearing from the television on Sky Sports News when they spoke to Steve Curry from the Daily Mail he said that most of the chairman's he spoke to in the Premier League were very unhappy with what Chealsea were up to!

 

Come on they get the Cole hearing out of the way a 3 days later go out and "tap up" Frank Arnesen from Spurs. I know that Tapping Up has been around for many years but I think in this day and age its about time that Chelsea and any other club who "Taps Up" needs a serious punnishment and the reason the FA are making an example of Chelsea is because they have brokent the rules!!!

 

 

Here is the rule that Tottenham Hotspur FC are taliking about:

 

 

The rule which has been breached is rule U10 which cites 'no club shall directly or indirectly induce or intend to induce any employee of another club to terminate a contract of employment with that other club (whether or not by breach of that contract) or directly or indirectly approach any such employee with a view to offering employment without the consent of that other club'.

 

I am sorry but as far as I am concerned Chelsea need to be shown who the boss is and it is not them or Roman,Peter Kenyon or Jose!!!

 

If they don't care about the rules then there is not point in them even taking part in the any Championship Next Season!

 

We ALL have to abide to the rules in our jobs or we will find ourselves out of a job so I am afraid that I don't see a difference between this and Chelsea!!

I probably won't be posting much in the next few days as I shall be trying to work out how to load my new mp3 player, old farts and new technology equals lots of swearing before giving up and asking my son to do it for me. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Who is the boss, James? Is it the FA who gave Adrian Mutu a seven month ban for taking drugs, they also failed to punish Man Utd for ignoring the FA Cup in order to play in some stupid Brazil tournament.

 

Or is it the Premier League who seem to currently run English football.

 

Your right Chelsea should be punished a lot more, but no one in football has the spine to do it.

 

What I found sickening out of the whole thing though is that The Chairman of the PFA Gordon Taylor refused to admit Cole was in some way in the wrong. Unions aren't just there to yell strike whenever things go wrong, they also enforce the law when their members do something wrong that their employer isn't happy with the way a perticular employee has acted. Arsenal were not happy with Cole, the PFA should punish him, yet the do nothing.

You have lost the plot, Stevenage have a far better set up than pikesend and pikefleet and as such there manager has every right to mout h off, where did you lot finish last season? Will you still be in the conference at the end of the new season?
