Liam daish is a crap manager, who would let Roy Essendoh go just like that i wouldent. would you?.......... i can understand why he let segier go, he is only left footed, he just keeps having to put the ball to the left of him and that just wastes time! But why let Roy Essendoh on the lose he was one of our top scorers.

 

 

does anyone no why he let roy go? if they do please reply and tell me why.

he was a striker for gravesend and he scored a goal on his debue

The worrying thing is that despite its lack of grammar 49er is right Liam has let Roy go and tried to keep Sigere who manged no goals in his time at GNFC because that 'goal' on his debut was never his goal as he never touched it why do people keep saying Roy only scored one goal in 30 games surely he scored 9 goals in the Conference last season and was our top league scorer and worked his socks off in every bloody game and then faced the indignation of being dropped for Sigere a lasy fat useless lump who would not recognise hard work if it smacked him in the face

I.m.o Roy just wasn't up for a fight towards the end of the season, he spent a lot of each match hovering around up front without a lot of effort.The goals had dried up and i for one couldnt see where he was going to get one from.Like i say this is how i saw it, others will disagree, but there you go,On the other hand Sigere done a lot of running, put the effort in but again had nothing on the end of it.

Sigere may of done the running, but missed the goal every time. When he first appeared he showed promise. As the season went on, he lost interest and expected plays to come to him, rather than to work for them. As for Roy, he did lose his performance mid-season, but you could not fault his determination, and by the end of season was back on form. I for one will miss roy, a player when on form, is fantastic to watch.

Roy was; and I know I'm gonna be slated for contradicting myself here, a better all round play maker than siggy. I'm glad to see the back of him, Lewes are quite welcome to him. As for Roy, I really hope that if he decides to return to pre season with the Fleet, that he proves what he can really do, and that Liam puts a new contract on the table for him.
