Chelmsford lost to Fisher I think.

So they didn't get their ground grading then?

The scoreline flattered Hampton. We pummeled them and could easily have won by three or four. Great to see Nathan get a goal and agree re Matty Game. Also thought Dorms looked very classy when he came on.

Hopefully we can build on our last couple of good performances against teams above us and put a sequence together that will see us right back in the mix for a play-off spot.

Well done to the team yesterday. Twas a fine effort.

Superb display. If Dorms can that make that much difference at 60% match fit then cant wait to see him fully fit.

Thought Gamo was outstanding and his passing and tackling were superb. Think Collins deserves a mention as alot of his work wasnt noticed as he wasnt the one threading the through balls like Gamo was. I said after the Braintree game I was worried about the lack of chances we created but that doesnt apply to this game. Hockers and Nathan had plenty of chances to wrap this one up. Nathan took his goal well but from where I was standing he missed an easy chance.

For me that was the best performance of the season and I would go as far as saying one of the best away performances in my 7 years of following the blues. We controlled the game throughout and I think beofre anyone says Hampton were not that good, well I think its more a case of we were that much better and made them look ordinary.

Well done lads.

Twas certainly a fine effort. Excellent day out with ace company a foot. Think i said after Tuesday "wonder just how important Matt Games goal was" - You just never know. Once again he was a tower! (no jokes). Great to see Nath get that elusive goal and the relief in his face said it all. But, it was a complete turnaround performance from a week ago, and "if" we can keep that level of tempo through games then we can really push on. Personally, Matt Game was man of match, but i am going to give a special mention to Kerrigan for always having his sleeves rolled up on a bitterly cold day. He wanted it, and the rest of the team wanted it! Top stuff chaps!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

I think Kerrers has been our most consistant player this season. He hasnt really had a bad game and must surely be the leading contender for player of the season.

Can anyone explain how in the last 5 mins when Dorms fouled their right back that their player never got a card after pushing Dorm's face into the ground?

You can only think the ref didn't see what the No.2 did but Dormer may have been a tadge lucky to have only got a yellow. Agree about Kerrigan, he's certainly come back strongly and the only player to have played in all games this season. Mustafa has also become a key player, I don't think you'll find a better right side pairing than McSweeney and him. Lets just hope we can keep hold of him.
