Margate V Folkestone: Predictions Please

With the big game quickly aproaching i think it is time for us to make our predictions on the game.

I predict it will be Margate 3-2 Folkestone and with xmas out the way and being a derby game i also think that there will be about 750 there. What does everyone else think.

Considering the effort I went to with the preview for Thanet Life Im hoping for a win here otherwise Im going to look pretty silly!

 

Im gonna go for a 2-1 win. Attendance 600. Ill be writing up a Christmas write up of Margate's season for Thanet Life in the week after the Folkestone game as promised some time ago. Of course, itll be posted here for those who cant get to Thanet Life. Ill be back at the computer on 28th Dec at the very latest so itll be up by then I would suppose.

Standen is a reasonable player-just not the most intelligent. Think the new strikeforce will come good and with Bertie as attacking midfield we're gonna get some chances. Couple this with Folkestone being a decidedly average side I'll go for 4-0.( Never been right yet ).

Always difficult to predict holiday derby matches and we always seem to have tight affairs with Folkestone but I think we can nick this one as long as the players don't over do the turkey and xmas pud. Think the crowd expectations are a bit high though. 2-1 to the Gate, attendance 625.
