Changes to league structures / forums

Hi,

 

It is that time of year again when several clubs are changing leagues.

 

Some know where they will be playing next season, others are awaiting confirmation from the FA later this week.

 

Congratulations to those promoted including Bedford Town, St. Albans City, AFC Hornchurch & Waltham Abbey (apologies if I have missed any others out that have forums here) - comiserations if your team has been relegated.

 

12 months ago it was the fans of Hornchurch who were wondering where they might be playing next, this season it is Canvey fans. I am sure we all wish them well in the weeks ahead. As Hornchurch found out, life can be most enjoyable even at a lower level.

 

As is also custom, fans are eager for me to move them to their new divisions. I will begin this within the next week following the outcome from the FA's meeting.

 

I propose however to merge the Conference, Nationwide South and Nationwide North forums - for some reason we get the majority of our traffice from the south of the UK (not really sure why) - but this tends to leave these forums wit very few posts If anyone has any objections to this, or can see a better way to get these forums going, please let me know.

 

If you have any other suggestions as to how we can improve the football league forums, please let me know - do others need to be merged/split? Please feel free to make your thoughts known in this thread. Without your input it is hard to know what to do.

I have now posted these to this forum.

 

I will start to move clubs around shortly.

 

Also we will be merging the conference, conference north & conference south forums for the time being.

Okay - hopefully all clubs are now moved and are in the right location.

 

I do not yet have the full structure for level 5 - but we will open/close forums as required.
