Kentish Town Football Club

Recommended Posts

Potters Bar Town - Well as I told you Kentish Town have been totally rebranded since last season when you were our 'landlords' and every thing we do is analysed to microscopic proportions particularly by Clement Temile who gives a whole new meaning to the word professionalism. Firstly it was like the end of the World to us to have today's game called off but to now have to be without two key players at Brimsdown when they have already been included in our plans following the Don Revie style dossier we received on them is surely penalising us in favour of Brimsdown. Therefore the Winslow game should be re-arranged for next Tuesday to allow for a level playing field.

Rubbish...in that case France should appeal to FIFa that the World Cup Final was unfair once Zidane got sent off.

The great teams can cope with the loss of players key or not and learn to be able to play without them. Or do you rely on these players so much

Rhodes - do you have a plan "b" in your dossier - I'm sure that Don Revie would have had! For all you know the same cruel fate that caused the Winslow traffic accident might also have deprived Brimsdown of a player/players through injury in their "result of the week" win today.

Well I'm not saying we can't cope without the suspended players but we only have a small squad and another key player will also be unavailable for selection. Surely Brimsdown already have a big enough advantage already with their supposed Conference players who they are paying a fortune to, this is playing right into their hands, particularly as we haven't had a game for two weeks, and the SSML therefore may as well just give them the Division 1 Championship now and have done with it.

I'm surprised by your resigned attitude there Rhodes given your normal bullish outlook on all things KTFC

Also two of our key players would have served their one match bans today but now they have to miss the Brimsdown clash which hardly seems fair as it was not our fault the game was called off and we are being penalised, I have asked Phil Rolt whether he can possibly re-arrange the Winslow game for next Tuesday but I am not holding out much hope.

Of course, had you entered the Capital Counties Feeder Leagues Trophy this season, you could have been playing in that today instead of the Winslow game and the suspensions would have been used up.

But I thought they could all contact each other telepathetically if they were not there? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/chloe.gif" alt="" />

Lato - Don't get me wrong as I still think we can beat 'the mighty' Brimsdown next week with virtually half the team missing, it just seems that we're being asked to play them with one arm tied behind our backs and it doesn't seem to be a level playing field.

Brimsdown's ground isn't that level for anyone, I seem to recall!

You may be interested to hear that we regularly send our players out into the local Community to visit hospitals, help old ladies across the road and generally press the flesh which also helps to raise our profile. This pic is from one of the many Community projects we're involved in:

Does a player called TJ play for you Rhodes?

I just visited the KT website to try to find out. I couldn't find a list of players, or any match reports to see a team list - only some photos from 16th Sept. Also, I refuse to install activex shockwave player just to look at a website - totally unnecessary.

On the subject of club websites, I wish whoever does the St Mags one would sort it out so that the buttons on the left actually do something.

Rak - Yes, he's in the photograph standing under the 'C', his name is Terry O'Leary and he's another of our class acts.

It is me that does it and it is a problem I am trying to sort out. I do not understand why, to some people they do not show as buttons. any suggestions gratefully received. I am hoping to do a re-vamp soon to make things simpler but having the time is a factor.
