Dream on pal!!!! If the ref hadent cheated and sent of our lad for falling back over and negus holding his face like he had been shot it would have been a differant story!!! I dont offen blame match officals but he called that wrong!!! if it was a sending off why wasnt rudi booked for putting his hands around Bound's neck and your 3 booked/sent off for kicking out??? swings and round abouts mate. you got the rub of the green 2nite we didnt, as bad as the THREE officals were!

Cobblers! All the ref's fault? Ask your back three, who spent the first hour leaving the ball for each other, or, for that matter, your management team for playing a converted winger in the back line and your best centre half in midfield!

Negus wasn't even on the bench as he was ill and sitting in the stand wearing a very dodgy hat!!!

Thought EFC looked poor and, at last, we showed some real team spirit. 2 cracking goals in the first half and an equally great goal early on in the 2nd. EFC just didn't seem to want to win and at 2 down were more interested in kicking lumps out of our lads. Quote from Stevenson "F***ing hit him"! Once 3 up and with Rudi off the pitch EFC suddenly showed some spirit and their first was a good one. The final 15 was very tense but Town deserved their win and the 3 points. Just hope Ricci's injury isn't too bad as he seemed to be coming back into form.

Are we that short of players? confused

To some degree, perhaps yes. Only Robbie Carroll immediately springs to mind as missing out last night, though. This isn't the first time its happened this season, of course. I think Jim's difficulty is that he wants to let players know early if they are not going to be involved. That's fine until a last minute change in circumstances arises (eg a bout of flu). Hindsight's a wonderful thing; I have a PHD in it!
