Steve King

Just been snooping on the Brentwood website. Joint top scorer this season is a Steve King. I'm guessing he is the same steve King who played for us in the ESL? Would be a useful aquisition with all our defensive problems, the injuries, I mean.

 

Any thoughts?

Yeah it is Kingy played for brentwood in the esl last season and stayed their this season. Good to see him doing well

Thought he had commitments to the Fire brigade? hence couldn't make the step up.

 

I reckon he could do a job at Ryman level.

 

I have faith in Colin and the team to bring the right people in though, if required that is!

Steve King is an evcellent defender. I for one was sorry to see that he chose not to join Colin.

Maybe Jordon can give him a phone and convince him otherwise.

steve king is an excellent player who I believe got caught up in the nonsense at the end of our esl season......he ended up at brentwood and I am sure it is no coincidence that they have done well with steve in the team....one of the best players to play at the bridge imho...

Agreed on Kingy's qualities, good defender and a real goal scoring threat as well. He's obviously doing a good job for Brentwood.

Brentwood beat Harlow in the Cup yesterday. A brilliant result for them.

I'm not sure if I have got the wrong end of the stick here, but I'm pretty sure that I know where the priorities would lay between attending a football match and pulling a half melted human from a burning car!
