Just signed him apparently. Was interested to know what you thought of him.

It's not a surprise, we have been expecting this for some time now.

Good centre half (certainly better than Christian Lee) it will be interesting to see how he performs next season.

Not a disaster as Robin Trott will nicely fill the void, but things do become a problem if one by one our non-contract players leave the club. I expect Dave to announce the counter signing of Joff soon !!!!!!

Well, I wasn't totally surprised when Craig left, owing to his transfer request earlier in the season, and after the club transfer-listed Che and sent Aaron out on loan, the departure of these two players also seemed a high possibility, and so it proved. However, Nick's departure comes as a real shock to me, and after his inspirational performances towards the back end of the season, I'm greatly disappointed. With just Fridge, Trott and Pennock (maybe) enlisted for central defence next season, things look a little grim.

However, Nick's been great for us during his time here, and I wish him well for the future.

sad to see Nick go...

A top guy, who always made a point of speaking to the away fans on longer journeys last year.

A good player, who got better as the season went on and by the end had found his feet at conference level.

But lets hope his replacement is even better !!

I would have liked to have seen Nick in our side next year too, by far our best tackler of the ball, and his heading was getting better and better towards the end of the season. Lets hope he is the last player to leave.

Oh well, sorry to see him go, although Trott is a good replacement so hopefully things will be ok, need another couple of defenders now, hopefully Paul Sturgess will sign in the next week or so.

With Nick now gone it does make this Steve Potts rumour look more credible.

Let the world know who we are after!

Perhaps then we will just manage to raise a five a side team for next year.

Think about it!

Lee Bowyer would be a good addition to the midfield as no-one else seems to want him!!

Well we did begin talks, but I'm afraid that he was not happy with the standard of the local nightclubs, and decided to sign for Stevenage instead.

New target is Kevin Davis on a free from Southampton. This now finishes our interest in Joff.
