It is meant to be coming out in October and will be released for PC, X-Box and for the first time on Playstation 2. Personally I'm think Football Manager 2005 will be better but I'll wait and see.

FM2005 for me. CM5 seems to be more 'tacky' to me. FM2005 is made by people who know how to make it and i'm gonna stick with them

FM for me too, the reason recent champ man games haven't been as good as was hoped was that Eidos rushed them out.

You'll be lucky. Football Manager is set to be released on the 5th November 2004.

I know it's off-topic, but has anyone tried the new FIFA game??

Nothing compares to Sensible Soccer really, but I wondered if this was any good, FIFA 2004 was shocking!

I will get Fifa 2005. I think the graphics get better each year and the off ball play for 2004 was soo good.

FIFA 2005 just feels too 'arcade-like'. Call me a purist but Pro Evo really does present the beautiful game. What I like about it best is that if you tweak the settings right, every game will be a game you can win but need to play well, unlike FIFA, which is always far too easy or far too difficult, depending on what level you choose.

15th October 2004 - Pro Evo 4 release day.....

fifa is getting better and better each year, what i loved about FIFA 2004 is that you could play the off-side trap which was very good, but it did take time to learn. I only hope you can do training during a season for example if you practice corners a lot, you'll be better from corners than a team who dont do corners as often.

Is Pro Evo 4 coming out for PC? I have seen reviews of Fifa 2005 in various PC mags and the ratings have not been too clever. They agree that Pro Evo is better.

Also saw some previews of FM 2005 and Champ Manager 2005 and FM looks a lot better.

Pro Evo is much better IMO, feels more realistic, even if you win comfortably there are points where the other team have spells, whilst in FIFA its all one way.
