That is by far the best match I have seen in a very long time...

there were bad tackles on both sides that the ref missed or didn't give the right card or a card but the game is over now and the ones with yellow cards have yellow cards and the ones with none have no cards

as for a fair result,i think we were the better side for long periods, barkingside just after the break were dangerous but that didn't last for more than 10 minutes,i would of been p1ssed off with a draw coz i didn't think barkingside really deserved it,but we have to start taking more of our chances

Would agree that hournchurch had more possession but i think Barkingside had the better chances.I have not come on here to disagree with anyones opinion as thats why we all come on here, however cannot remember any bad tackles from Barkingside players?

Cider, the linos are always going to get criticised by biased fans especially now with the changes to the offside law (it leads to what look like late decisions). At the end of the day the best side won.

The officials were getting stick from both benches as well because they were poor,i just felt the were going with the crowd on some decisions rather than giving correct ones. The main problem was not clamping down on dangerous tackles.

there were tackles going in from all angles cider from both sides....

right anyway...lets put all this to bed as we have video evidence that BH was ONSIDE...side player was at least a yard OFFSIDE and the handball incident in the second half should deffo have been a penalty...refs seen all three incidents and concurs...

it also proves conclusively that it was a side fan who threw the burger....looks a bit like ciderman I have to say but it is a bit blurry....

robbie...can we have them on here please or else we'll never hear the last of it....

spot on esu...charlie got booked for pushing their player and the side player pushed charlie back and got away with it...

but hey....all this happens its part of the game...

I do think that the barkingside players were quite dramatic with all of the rolling over stuff but its over...

Hx 1 barkingside 0

stansted is now more important than that lot....

Ok here goes

Billy's disallowed goal

My opinion: Clearly Billy is not offside when Danny hits his shot. Arguably he is not offside at any time during the move. Personally I think the asst has got the decision wrong - but I will point out that contentious decisions like this which have on occasion been analysed on video after the game have found, in pretty much every case, that the official has made the correct decision.

Barkingside handball

My opinion: Not as clear cut as I remember. There's not much doubt that the ball struck the defender's arm but I can't believe that at least the asst ref didn't see it so presumably he judged that it wasn't intentional. We've all seen penalties given for much less and I think that if it had been at our end I would consider that we'd been slightly fortunate to get away with it.

Barkingside's disallowed goal

My opinion: With the action being so far away it's not really possible to make a judgement. It looks like the scorer is goal side of Steve King when the ball is passed to him but whether another defender is playing him on, or at what stage the asst ref raised his flag is clearly not possible to tell.

For what it's worth, the main thing I want to see from an asst ref is for him to make the correct decisions. If that means that he takes an extra second or so to be sure his decision is correct before he makes it then so be it. With the complications of the current offside rule I'm not sure why players and supporters always expect asst refs to make these calls absolutely immediately.

Hope this helps

Agree that our goal should have stood, I didn't need slow motion or pausing.

The handball, my opinion is that it wasn't, I do believe it was Premyslav as well, Dolf for the rest of you and a nice bloke as well.

Their disallowed goal, you're right can't tell but was he booked for taking off the shirt?

The result was correct in the end so end product is no problem.

Rob can you show the two Tranmere incidents, Vinny's goal and the pen please?

Oh and while you're there! No only joking!

thanx robbie....

billy deffo onside....handball...err....you get 'em sometimes...

their disallowed goal not definitive but the flag was deffo up before the ball went in and the key is the Hx defender running at an angle from the left....I think he was behind the play...

anyway...fck it...we got the three points...

vinny...what can you say...quality goal quality player...quality kid...

Certainly was Yellow and what a great day it was.

Listen to the roar of the crowd, had him at 8/1 as well and us to win, 3500 people in the 'ol Stadium and BBC cameras. Some great away fans who had respect for us and vice versa BUT one crooked referee. It's over now but certainly near the top of my list for footie tales. Yer man Palios two seats away, nice away officials, what happened to that return btw?

Goalie for Trani? John Achterberg. Their scorer Gary Jones.

Missed open goals particularly from Lloyd, Keelo hitting the post and then seeing they drew Bolton in the 4th round.

They then rached the Semi Final draw to be beaten by the Lions in a 6th round replay.

Great memories!

Thanks Rob, I've saved it.

we belong where we are PM and lets not forget that again....

we are an essex senior league team and I for one am enjoying it immensely and meeting a lot of good decent unaffected footie folk who play for the fun of it and not the money...

very refreshing...

if we get promoted then thats fine but for the mo we are where we are and its great...
