Great clips again MbrunoB..thanks.

The 'hand ball' actually looked like the defender lifted Crace's arm to make contact with the ball..unlucky.

Good to hear the supporters in fine form.

Just from the small amount of the games I see from the clips the side appear to be playing with confidence.

Are you sure? all I can hear and heard was a bunch of Enfield fans all of whom appeard to be over 60 shouting 'come on towner's' hardly great vocal support!

You are wrong on your first point because when the 3 of us sang for 90 mins at Brimsdown earlier in the season and we BEAT YOU 1-0 our team fully appreciated our support as they always do, even your keeper that night and some of your fans said how good it was.

You 2nd point is also correct, its not our fault that no one else wants to join us, we have tried but they obviously dont enjoy singing, and have their own way of supporting the team.

I dont mind if they are locals or not, one of more vocal fans makes the round trip from Basingstoke for 'home' matches!

You seem to have forgotten the 3pts we took off you at your place earlier in the season. I dont remember our fans and players making such a big fuss about what was great result for a club just promoted from step 5.

The fact that your fans and players celebrated so much after beating us shows how far Edgware have come in a short space of time rather then how good Enfield are!

I’ve not forgotten that at all, I was at the game earlier in the season, and am more than happy to admit that the better side won that evening and I was also impressed by the three of you and your vocal support. I don’t really see anything to suggest that our fans or the players celebrated any more than they would’ve done had they beaten any side near the top of the table. For info, our squad always have a post match huddle on the pitch before warming down, and generally have a cheer after a victory, so no special treatment for Edgware there. In fact, I reckon this thread was pretty much done and dusted after Wagga had posted until you came back on questioning our vocal support (again). Saying things like “The fact that your fans and players celebrated so much after beating us shows how far Edgware have come in a short space of time rather then how good Enfield are!”, whilst in part true (you have come a long way in a short space of time), isn’t really doing much to champion you as a good loser.

 

Good luck for the rest of the season, and I hope the voice holds out.

Funny thing is that we have a LOT of supporters who have other ways of supporting the team rather than singing!
