Well done Broxbourne

Horace - Not at all, Clement came within a whisker of securing the job and wouldn't have made such a pigs ear of their World Cup qualification that's for sure

Horace - Clement would have never struggled to beat Countries such as Mozambique and Kenya in qualifying had he been appointed to the job and would have taken at least four points off Tunisia instead of just two, Nigeria can thank their lucky stars that Tunisia surprisingly lost in Mozambique in their last game

Another piece about Broxbourne Borough on the Non League Today Website but where it says that they have 'dusted themselves down and moved on following the departure of manager Tony Faulkner to neighbours Ware' I get the impression, reading between the lines, that the Club are feeling a little deflated:

And no-one reads between the lines more imaginatively than you Rhodes.

Rhodes,

Trust me, it's completely the opposite in fact! The club are in very high spirits, things are still looking good. Dissapointing result last night admitedly but, conditions, in all honesty were attrocious. Were we going to beat the likes of Steveanage or Watford anyway??

We have signed some quality players, and if we can hang on to the ones who are still there, then we WILL push on.

I have to agree with saf on this, a shake up at Broxbourne is just what the doctor ordered, Tony has done a solid job down at goffs lane but its defo time for a fresh face or two to try and take the club to the next level, given a little time and the right people around him Mark Beels can make an impact, its time for more walk and less talk out of Broxbourne!

Here we go again folks, what is the point in telling the World and its wife that Danny Ward and Daryl Mitchell are returning, prodigal son style, to Goffs Lane:

Rhodes, the point of Non League Daily is, to report "news", this I would condier being "news". If you check the rest of the articles on Non League Daily they are msotly of comings and goings.

I think you have a slight soft spot for Broxbourne, you're always looking out for their "news".

Saf06 - I only follow Broxbourne Borough's results because you're there and, before Ware poached him, Bradley Drisdale, it's a crying shame Tony Faulkner left as you were finally moving in the right direction rather than one step forward two steps back all the time, now it's back to the drawing board again.

I see that Mark Beels has added former Waltham Abbey player Albert Bostock to his squad:

Another one poached from Cuffley! Albert starred for Herts County League in their narrow defeat in Guernsey a week last Saturday.
