I see that Broxbourne Borough are all over the Non League Today Website like a rash following last night's disappointing 2-1 Herts FA Charity Cup Final defeat to Hemel Hempstead Town:

it's a crying shame Tony Faulkner left

So do we think that Tony Faulkner will make a dramatic return to Goffs Lane next season, here's his resignation statement from Ware's Website:

What do they want with another manager. They've got more managers than they know what to do with already

Ashley Fisk

Tom Mundt

Geoff O'Vell

Unless they all swap round of course.

Backfour1 - Yes but who would you rather have in control of team affairs if you were Chairman at Goffs Lane, Ashley Fisk, Tom Mundt, Geoff O'Vell or Tony Faulkner

Two interesting articles on Broxbourne Borough who appear to be expecting big things this coming season:

That's strange, the article about the great Bradley Drysdale was dated 17 July saying how delighted everyone is that he is back, Prodigal Son style, at Goffs Lane as he is arguably the most popular player ever to wear the Club's shirt

I have it on good authority that Bradley Drysdale has left Broxbourne Borough and joined Enfield 1863, I'm amazed Tony Faulkner didn't take him to Wingate & Finchley when he went to the Abrahams Stadium as number two to David Norman

Sparkie - That's because Bradley hasn't gone to the right Club and has always returned to Goffs Lane Prodigal Son style with his tail between his legs. At Wingate & Finchley they would have nurchered the great man, boosted his confidence and he would have received the best Coaching as they are a Club going places unlike the two Enfield's and Ware.

NeutralFan - Yes but can you imagine what Bradley would have achieved had he stayed at Haringey Borough a bit longer and continued to get the best Coaching from his mentor's Martin Ash and Tony Catania before Broxbourne Borough tapped him up

Is that allowed?

i dont think teams like Wingate have time and energy to put into unfulfilled potential, they want players who can play at that level and then progress, Tony Faulkner knows Brad as well as anyone, he like 99.9% of people must agree that level is out of reach for Bradley.....Like NeutralFan said he was hardly setting the Spartan alight and now finds himself playing in the Essex senior which has now got to be one of the poorest leagues at that level.

Sparkie, you're going to have everyone on your case about all the recent victories by ESL over SSML clubs in VASE and FA Cup. Luckily Ampthill redressed the balance slightly last night.

I had the 'pleasure' of marking him in a game last year and despite him having 15 years and 20 mph on me he didn't trouble me too much... that might've been down to Brox just trying to knock high balls over me which they couldn't manage mind you!

Not exactly Broxbourne Borough related but I see that Tony Faulkner has left Wingate & Finchley to take up the vacant Manager's at Cheshunt:
