Only when the players learn the laws Smudgey.

How many players are aware there is a change to the law about penalty kicks this season ?

I think Smudgies request constitutes at least a nibble ?

Where is the 'Bite Committee' when you need 'em ?

I think the word used is "Clarification"

Also an interesting change around players having to leave the field of play if treatment is required.

Incorrect TC. The one about colliding with the keeper has always been there. Now if 2 players from the same side collide and require treatment they do not have to leave the field of play.

What if a player collides with the referee and the referee needs treatment ?

Who signals him back on ?

Kroons, you haven't mentioned the most important law change. Goal posts. Wasn't there something about corner flags as well? Not got time to check. At work........

Goal Posts is just a clarification. Dont remember seeing anything about Corner Flags.

Will try and bring them all in tomorrow :)

In my experience JR everytime a player has collided with me it is he who has needed the treatment :)

Interesting read that, the only one they voted against UNANAMOUSLY was introduction of Goal line technology, even they make mistakes the rule makers. So wat happens to the penalty taker after he is cautioned for unsporting behaviour, free kick to opponents.

Put your glasses on Smudge.

The use of goal-line technology and indeed technology in general within the game was rejected by majority decision.

It doesn't say it there but the FA's of England (1 vote) and Scotland (1 vote) voted in favour of pursuing the idea at the last meeting, Northern Ireland (1 vote), Wales (1 vote) and the Rest of the World (4 votes) voted against so it was 6-2 against.

no surprice that no one has thought to inform the players, then dont be offended, when people complain about refs performance.

as some of there decisions will be strange to most of us.
