Dave told me yesterday that he was handing over the running of the clubs website to the club themselves, as of today.

 

May I be the first to thank Dave for all his efforts over the past few years at maintaing the site and keeping us informed.

I've updated the match details for the last time. All tha's left for me to do now is to update the Man of the Match page when the final vote for the season ends on Friday and then pass all the files over to Glenn to carry on the site.

 

I'll continue hosting the site for the next couple of weeks to give the club a chance to find a new host, and then it's all done.

 

The end of an era for me at least, I've been through three managers and three chairman since I started this site back in 1996 and I've seen the club go from strength to strength.

 

Now I can look forward to just watching the matches and not having to worry about attendances books etc.

 

Thank you all for your support, espically Alan W for helping with the reports, and I'll see you all at Stonebridge Road next season.

Ah, my 1,000th post! And I might as well use it to thank the chap that started me wasting my time on forums and non-league websites when I surely have better things to do... oh, hang on, no I don't.

Yes , many thanks Dave , like Stu M I've spent many hours on here , since 1996 - ahhh! .

I havent been around as much as I would like this season due to family and business conmmitments but keep up to date through the site , let's hope the club provide a similar service .

By the way Dave ,I pass the Red (?) Balloon above Gloucester every week on my way to projects at Evesham and Cheltenham -I see Cinders are relegated out of the Southern league .
