If you all travel on the same coach I'm sure it can drop you off near the Town centre, hope there's not a replay coz we'll never get parked in Brimsdown's tiny car park.

And Lovely stuff are you sure those 600 are all genuine Townies? I'd call them 'glory supporters' but that of course would be ridiculous.

If it's on Sunday at least 20 from the Abbey will be there, guaranteed.

I am lead to believe that it will be on Sunday @ 3:00pm.

Am looking forward to it the first 'real' encounter between the clubs - should be a good crowd...

... talking of which, I see that Cheshunt are now giving true attendances - 66 according to the paper for last Sat's game against Staines. Crap for Ryman 'Prem'. And before you say it, EFC did declare a few lower attendances but then again they had mitigating circumstances.

the tiny car park @ brimmo extends to the Downs; the Ware CP is shared with the sports centre, and so is busy with people going there.

Del. The previous encounter should have been a 'real' encounter. I was only the fact that Mr Back bottled it big time, that meant Town had to beat their reserves instead of their first team. But if you remember EFC first team at the time were very poor,so Backy probably made a wise discision.

How many of EFC fans will be 'glory hunters' .If you get a turn out of 100.That would mean four fifths of your support would be 'hunting'.

Aargh!!! - when I heard the draw I thought brilliant, especially as it should have followed the Merseyside derby on the Saturday. But I fly to Australia on the Saturday night so, like Happy, will miss it on the Sunday. Don't think the wife will allow me to postpone, do you?

Not only that but, being in the air, I'll be completely out of contact and won't know the score until I get to Oz. That will be torture. Aargh!!!

** TOWNERS i think you mean

thats nice of you, to say we have glory supporters. obviously the Town supporters support the GLORY. what do you have?!

Several years worth of glory Junior, several years worth... and I meant Townies. Lovely Stuff for your info we are getting crowds just short of 100 now - I'm still struggling to work out how your average of 238 is going to become 600+, let's face it you've got 238 of you left, maybe those few of you left might not stomach yet another season in the essex league.

MK James

The split is final now. Too many of us have invested too much in the Town to go back to EFC. There is no way that you can attract people to Ware and I dont think much of your chances of getting a ground in Enfield.

The olive branch was offered but it was thrown back in our face.

As for crowds "Lovely Stuff for your info we are getting crowds just short of 100 now" Well whoopy-do we are getting over 2.5 times that and I cannot see it falling in the coming matches.

Come on folks, lets keep the banter light hearted. I detect a bit of bitterness coming onto this thread. It is Anfield Towner and I that should be bitter as we cannot make the Sunday.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you not arrange the game for the Friday night!!!???

HEAR STARTS THE CAMPAIGN FOR THE GAME TO BE ON THE FRIDAY NIGHT.

Clashing with the most eagerly awaited premiership encounter of the season on the Sunday is madness.

The only reason i can see for EFC wanting to do this ,is lower the crowd and thus dampen the atmoshere, And it seems they are willing to lose possibly thousands of pounds in the process.

Friday night under the lights.Just think how many neutral and floating supporters the game would attract

Here's my attendance predictions.

7.45 Friday....750

3.00 sunday....520

1.30 sunday....700

3.00 Saturday( switched to Brimsdown)...900+
