BOWERS & PITSEA V ENFIELD TOWN

Recommended Posts

Bowers & Pitsea have been given Enfield Town home and away twice in 16 days, these 2 games around the christmas and new year periods.

could be enfield towns downfall especially if Waltham Abbey keep on beating all that is put before them, beware all who mock this bowers have turned the corner and there is no looking back from now on.

Doesn't Darren sound like some of the Eton manor lot from last season.

A few decent result and suddenly its 'The second Coming'.

Glad your doing well Bowers ,BUT you say Abbey are 'beating all that is put before them'. Well so are the ETFC.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe that Town last away defeat in the league was at Concord in 2002.Now that Town's home playing surface has improved dramatically this season. Our home form mirrors our away form at last.

I expect Bowers to give us a game. To put a spanner in the works.???? Lets wait and see.

Yes, Enfield Town hold the all-time Essex Senior League record for being unbeaten away from home in the League which means that this game on Saturday has even more significance than 1st v 2nd... what a cracker !

Enfield Town and Waltham Abbey are the benchmarks for clubs like Bowers & Pitsea this season, one thing for sure when your in the top 2 positions in the league everybody wants to beat you thats just the way it is,we as a club looks forward to both our games against Enfield Town and our away game against Waltham Abbey,in the new year, all i was saying was that bowers & pitsea have turned things around lately and that after a month if i had 2 games against Enfield Town coming up i would be dreading it,now im looking forward to it hopefully our run continues but nothing is guaranteed in football every team is capable of beating anyone on their day.

Honestly Junior that was a total moment of pure thickness. It was even mentioned by the best man at my wedding who then presented Mrs H and I with brand new wooden spoons!

These days, Mrs H and I do not use wooden spoons on the kids. We just use barbed wire!
