cheers pinnacle!

i think everybody has said there bit on the subject and i think we are just going over the same stuff!

bottom line is we lost fair enough did not deserve to win!

there were issues with the crowd which people have different views on!

we have to move on and think of next week and try to get back on track!

Pinnacle.Don't burn your bridges with the Town fans. the 'spitter' is not a regular Town supporter. Thats probably the first game of ours that he's ever attended (and the last i hope.)

Anyway. We all know you'll be a Town player next season. So try to keep in our good books. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/whistling.gif" alt="" />

I would just like to stress that the WAFC supporters behind the goal where not reserve team players and nor where they anything to do with a WAFC Sunday team (As we don't have one). Our reserves played Thurrock away on Saturday and unless they are magicians and can be in two places at once they couldn't have been at the town game.

Banter is a big part of non league football. I know for a fact should WAFC have lost on Saturday the same songs and noise level would still have come from behind the goal.

Yeah I did score in the 8-1 defeat at Grays in the week, but i only played because we didn't have enough men (doesn't make me a WAFC reserve team player, I don't play week in week out.

Even if I was a player what s wrong with me going to support my local team. If the reserves didn't have a game they would have all been there, whats wrong with trying to boost your attendance.

I don't think the WAFC fans where being nasty in any way but if you townie fans where offended then I appologise it wasn't meant as insults just friendly banter.

On speaking to your vocal fans in the bar after wards they wasn't offended in anyway and look forward to the game at your ground.

As for the plank that has offered to give us a kick in when we travel to your place, there is no need for that in any sport.

The supprter at the end of the game was bang out of order and if you had obeen anywhere near the incident it was WAFC fans that stopped him from getting a kick in. if you noticed it was our fans that walked him to his car.

I left straight away to walk to Waltham Cross, so I didn't see any of the 'events' - apart from the numpty trying to get at the officials and there's no excuse for that.

I agree about the banter. I was particularly impressed with 'can we play you every week?' Well done, whoever started that one.

Hopefully for the return leg the sensible majority will prevail.

Quote:
if we can identify this guy, can he be banned from ESl games?

I have no idea who is. I did see him duriong the game @ the half way line; but supporters belong behind the barrier. Football does not need this kind of mindless idiot.

Some one must know him?

In short, any club can refuse entry to whoever they please.

If he tries to get into the Abbey again and is identified I'm sure he will be ejected immediately.
