Next Season..I Would Like (Please read all)

to see Whitebucket adopted as the official club website. Thanks Dave for all your hardwork (and the phone calls), your own site had been brilliant too. It takes so long to build a good site. I know ive designed plenty. So either the first option or pay Dave full time to do the'Fleet' a nice new one.

Next Season..I Would Like

A on-line club shop so fans from all over the world can snap-up 'Fleet' goodies as well as us local ones that find our own club shop a little cramped and a little low on products. Has anybody else noticed the un-official items advertised on Ebay. The clubs loosing money.

Next Season..I Would Like

An on-line prediction league with a trophy. Entrance should be paid either at the club or through Paypal. The software is available and could lead to more money for the club.

Next Season..I Would Like

Decent half time entertainment at all games and a bevvy of Fleet cheerleaders to welcome the team on and of the pitch and cheer up the fans on the terraces.

Next Season..I Would Like

All halftimes read out during the interval. Prem, Champ, Div 1, Div2 and conf..not just the local scores from Radio Kent

Next Season..I Would Like

A full-time squad assisted by another squad of part-time players.

Next Season..I Would Like

All competitions to be taken seriously unless circumstances insist otherwise.

Next Season..I Would Like

Reserve team matches advertised Here, on the official website at the ground and by a 'Fleet mailing list. Who else has missed out before. The clubs loosing money.

Next Season..I Would Like

An internet fans view given a page in the programme. Giving constructive posts and maybe a league table of the prediction leagues and eventually its divisions.

Next Season..I Would Like

This forum deleted and a new forum linked to the official site (whatever that may be). This forum is to close to forums of other clubs and suffers because of it.

Next Season..I Would Like

The tea-bar next to the wooden stand re-opened. As crowds increase so do queues. I often dont bother anymore. Once again the club is loosing money

Finally, at least for now..Next Season..I Would Like

Success for 'The Fleet'. Oh the terracing finished and cover for away support.

Hope im not asking for too much...ha ha

Be tricky to get it going. If it helps the cdlub it has to be a good thing. Could stert with asking via this forun whose interested, a cash prize could be an incentive. Actually being fair it would take a load of work and a long time to get it off the ground. I can fully understand why it will probably never happen.

Take your point about the tea-bar perhaps the guy doing the franchise will read this and do something.

This would largely depend on whether Mr. Ed Miller would be willing to run it on that basis, since at the moment he has stated his desire to concentrate more on the archival side of the site.

Why? Higher-level football's apeing American sport enough already, without it filtering down into the lower leagues too.

Otherwise, some good suggestions - particularly:

And I'm sure Slarti will agree with me on that one.

This is the thing about half time entertainment, anything half decent would pull punters away from the bar, which would then lose the club money and you Carjam seem to be so against that.

Although it is a good suggestion, if only there was some way we could do both, a live TV feed perhaps!

Dave, you have done a great job, I thought you wanted to give it up, perhaps im mistaken on that one. As for this board its rather nice to have a thread football realated..This board is dying a death 'Not a place for young fans anymore'

Take your point about the bar suffering if the entertainment at half time is good. I have no problems with America. The way they do things may be a little OTT, but we should take note and go somehwere in between.

The Fleet 'do have fans all over the world. I know some. Give them the chance to purchase from the shop too. On-line is the way ahead

So much to say...but have other things to do will catch up later if anybody wants to raise any of

'What I want for next season' ideas

In that case it's a shame that based on our average attendance little over 1% of the local population are interested in us though

Maybe we should rellocate

I never said a 'lot' just some. As for your point 'do something about it'. A few of my points mat raise attendance. Other ideas..please put them forward...

So many negative people around here. Bring a friend. Tell your mates, anonymous...

Really the sixe of the crowd depends on the success of the team. The club are doing something about that..hope they get it right

The on-line shop is just one of many points at the top of this thread (and its not a new point, belive the club were thinking along those lines before I made my points). Some may be useful most are probably over the top. If someone in South America wants a 'Fleet' scarf then why not make it easy. That is only if its financially viable. Right now on Ebay programmes, Flags, Books related to the club are up for sale, in the past I have seen fridge magnets, shirts, scarves, all up for grabs.I suspect the club has made nothing from these sales. There is a market, maybe it is small I dont know.

Shop going on line live in the autumn, ,( the things you list on e bay are private sales nothing to do with the club or shop) there you can tick one of your boxes. Perhaps with all your good ideas, the first thing you should do is stop assuming that other people are not just thinking but actually doing something other than making suggestions to change things. Sadly I note than none of the things you listed will actually make much difference to club income and many like the tea bar etc have been made loads of time before.

What we need are people doing things, like Dave, like Ed, like the moderators, like the volunteers working at the ground, like the people who work on match days, like Harry and his fund raising work.
