why did 2 people decide to send me pm's last night - it wasn't very nice...

 

I worked very hard for the club last year - taking on the match day secretary role - often attending games (both esl & capital league), when I did not feel up to it - does that warrent being kicked in the teeth now? Does spending 4 or 5 hours going through and uploading photos from a game deserve this?

 

If I am being accused of being one of UU's cronies - it just isn't fair. UU does not run the site here - I do - however he has as much right as anyone else to complain and ask me to remove potentially libellous posts from any forum.

 

I just do not think it is fair that I am being accused of these things - if you (the fans) want me to walk away to another club, then fine - it will save me the £50pm that I pay for the internet services at the club. However despite rumours to the contary - there is no other club lined up - so for me it will mean being clubless for next season frown.gif

 

I thought guys that we got on well - the club requested a ban for ESU - not me - okay the fact that I mucked that up yesterday meant he could still post, but that has been corrected now.

 

If you think I am as bad as UU and you want people like us out then fine - I will walk...

 

Note - I am not taking sides here - I am merely repeating the tone of the PM's received last night (and no, I will not name names - you know who you are!) - Karl asked me to join HX when I fell out with Jeff King at Canvey (for which I am grateful - although other clubs also asked me, but I chose HX) - since then I have invested in camera equipment, laptops etc., to take many photos of games and hopefully record a few moments from the rollercoaster that has been HX for the last 2 or 3 years - in that time I have not received a penny from the club in either wages or expenses - it has only cost me money (none of which I begrudge) - so it is with amazement that you have turned on me now.

 

Very sad that it has come to this....

 

I intend to only make this one post on the subject - the PM's sent will not go to any other person - I feel that they are retaliation for the banning of ESU and for the removal of posts from here recently (on that subject the moderators remove the posts from here, not me - although I will remove posts from other forums if they break site rules).

 

The way I feel right now, just makes me want to swear - and that is not something you will hear me do very often.... angry.gif

 

Again this week I have been asked if people like me and UU can read PM's - to repeat myself for the umpteenth time - NO!!!

 

I am now waffling - so please let me enjoy the summer break...

Ian you, like all the unpaid volunteers, do a fantastic job and we would not have a club without you all. I know you are not taking sides but it is clear that the actions of the "dissenters" are becoming more and more frantic. The club is moving on and they feel they are being left behind in the wake.

Yes. I'm also sorry that you feel like this Ian. You work tirelessly for this club. As indeed does Rob with the video clips etc.. I do, however, think it's extremely unreasonable that you pay for the club's internet services from out of your own pocket. Let alone anything else that encumbers you.

Seeing as this is a FANS forum...then maybe the supporters club money could contribute towards your expenses in this department. It's only fair.

It's gone way beyond what's reasonable, amusing or remotely justified.

 

We have one of the best websites in NLF, one of the best club set ups, best stadia, best teams, and best management groups, yet it seems free range for criticism.

 

Who ever it is that seems hell bent on destroying things, just consider that were it not for these people we would not have a club or any of the aforementioned luxuries.

 

If it's not good enough for you anymore then seek a different forum, a different club and see how you feel then about changing teams. This is OUR club, our team and you stick with them through thick and thin, regardless of what happens. Opinions are fine, but personal attacks are never justified.

 

NOW CAN WE PLEASE GET ON AND LOOK FORWARD TO PLAYING ENJOYING SOME FOOTBALL. I'm bored with all this.

The club I saw more than 30 times last season. I cant help it if I've followed the results of the weird and wonderful of football over the years, but I think my money through the Bridge tunstiles answers that Mala! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/attentat.gif" alt="" />

Having read all the recent comments with regards to this post I felt the need to add my bit. I spoke to Ian the other day by chance and, having never spoken to Ian before, I found him to be very amicable and a genuinely nice man.

 

It would be sad if Ian feels that he is being bullied and is being made to make the decision to go.

 

I agree with many who use this forum, please don't go.

I have just read this and am absolutely disgusted by it.

Ian is one of the most sincere people I have ever met...

What ever was said must have hurt because you felt it nescessary to post on here.

You do a fantastic job, not only with this site and all that comes with it, but at the club too(I have seen you there when you should have been at home in bloody bed mate!!)

Dont let these idiots drive you away...
