Hx 2 Met Police 2

No dagger due to hols so for interested parties the score was as above with the urchins taking the lead through gary cross on 20 minutes.. met police equalising on 38 minutes..simon parker putting the urchins back in front on 80 minutes and met police equalising on 91 minutes. Many missed chances in the second half and a great game of football to watch. Nice warm evening with a breeze to keep us cool and 182 in the ground.

if anyone knows the met police scorers or the exact times of the goals please feel free to update... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I was impressed by our performance considering it's early days and a lot of changes were made. Nice to see 3 ex-O's playing. I was pleased to see Danny Glozier keep to his job all night. Their No. 7 (Craig Brown) who scored their first, didn't have a sniff after the 1st 20 minutes.

It looks promising for the forthcoming campaign.

I know it's a bit late, but the AFCH squad last night was:

1. Michael Collier 2. Ronnie Fletcher 3. Danny Glozier 4. John Purdie 5. Jim McFarlane 6. Jamie Southon 7. Greg Tiffin 8. Garry Cross 9. Rikki Burbridge 10. Billy Holland 11. Ross Wareham 12. Simon Parker 14. Kris Lee 15. Adam Parker 16. Andy Tomlinson 17. Gareth Thomas 18. Jordan Bostock 19. Stuart Roberts 20. Reece Madden.

As for nicknames that stuck, how about "Stormin' Norman" Gorman!
