Its a toss up between you and Hornchurch luv. Wont be going to Rhodes game coz no nice biscuits were offered (too late now Rhodes)
Why don't you go to Hertford on Saturday love and knock them dead, wear that nice see through number with stockings and suspenders, that should get them all going particularly Horace.

Cant wear it every week - people will think thats the only clothes I possess. Tell ya what I wish my Canvey shirt was a bit longer coz it was a bit cold today in them stockings and the canvey shirt.
Anyone need somewhere to hang their coat?? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Canvey shirt and jeans much more appropriate on a Saturday afternoon. You could lways pack them in case you stay over, though!

Paula - You will have to go to Haringey Borough for nice buscuits love and see a man called Roy Fowler, he does a mean custard cream. Anyway we're away to Harpenden Town.

Rhodes, make a wish for a particular type of biscuit and see if it turns up at half time at Harpenden next Saturday. These forums have special powers, you know.

PBT well done mate - great result for ya. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />
Be great if you get a conference side next draw. If you get someone like Forest Green or Tamworth then they should be winnable. Both have nice grounds too.

Thanks, Paula. Biggest problem now is getting the player's feet back on the ground for Tuesday night's home match with Aveley. I just hope they don't take their foot off the pedal with one eye on next Saturday's trip to Carshalton in the FA Trophy. We won't be in the cup or trophy come March/April and we need as many League points as we can get in the meantime so that we aren't playing catch-up at the end of the season.

Carlshalton used to be a decent side. Remember playing them in our prev Ryman days.

As for the build up of matches remember that experience too (you might remember that as well) Think it was the year before we won the Ryman Prem. We had such a bag log of games because we had good FA cup runs and Trophy runs that we had to play 7 games in 10 days. It was for that reason we were runners up. The team were absolutely cream crackered and obviously it showed on the pitch.

Hope that dont happen to you - well maybe I do coz then we'll beat you!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Rhodes can tell you who's where. I don't have an SSML Handbook this season.
Manorborn - I e-mailed Nick at Harpenden our Club history and proposed line up for their programme but not sure about the other guy, it's a shame they got relegated but they haven't exactly set Division 1 alight this season, unlike one Club I can mention, although today's result may well indicate that they're starting to get their act together scoring five at the mighty Stony Stratford Town. Potters Bar Town - If I find a spare SSML handnook do you want one incase you need Phil Rolt's number for anything.

At a guess Rhodes PBT won't want or need a SSML handbook, sometimes comments are just comments and don't mean anything other than what they say. Although I do realise this is a concept you struggle with.

And to be honest the only thing anyone wants from Phil Rolt is a season long fixture list, but unfortunately his general incompetence means this is unlikely.

Spidermanor - Well I was only being helpful and friendly to Potters Bar Town, he only needs to ask if he wants a handbook and it will be in the post to him, that's the sort of guy I am although you and others on here don't seem to realise that. As for Phil Rolt I still cannot understand why you find him incompetent, he was incredibly helpful to us last week when Winslow United were allegedly involved in a RTA on the way to our ground and straight away gave his agreement to delay kick off for as long as it took.

Although I agree with Rhodes that the website does need updating and it is a pain i also have to say that people WITHIN the club seem to know what the players are having for breakfast the morning before so isnt that all that matters?

3praise - Didn't you swear by the Website when I was at the Club, go on admit it, when it was kept up to date virtually by the second, sorry micro second. The last result on there now is the 3-1 defeat to Welwyn Garden City on 16 September and it still has 'us' playing at Sporting Bengal United in the FA Vase when 'we' were knocked out by Halstead Town. Surely there is someone from 'within the Club' as you put it who can maintain the Website and make it a going concern as it was before, what about you or one of your chums Doctorwho or Brit06.

I see Haringey went down tamely again last night at Romford in the London Senior Cup, has anyone got a match report, perhaps 3praise, Doctorwho or Brit06 were there, well on second thoughts perhaps not.

Paula - Thanks for the tip love, according to a guy who was there Romford played their Reserve

team apart from a couple but not sure how accurate that is as the London Senior Cup is by no means a Mickey Mouse competition, perhaps Coupwotcoup could confirm if he was at the game as I believe he's a Romford fan.
