The new year is drawing is fast so what are your best moment of 2006?

 

 

Fleet related:

Best: Building a well respected conference side this season.

Worst: The dissapointing run of form towards the back of last season.

 

Non-fleet related:

Best: Brilliant albums from Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Stadium Arcadium, and Incubus, Light Grenades.

Worst: The world cup (yawn).

Best:

Charlie putting that first goal away against Cambridge (not Oxford funnily enough)

Worst

Similarly the first goal being put away by Cambridge when we played away.

 

Non-fleet:

Best: Seeing Roger Waters doing Another Brick In The Wall at Hyde Park Calling

Worst: mm, getting mugged?

Best- Grays at home. And every new song of Kenny's.

 

Worst- The frustration of losing to bloody Stafford!!

 

Non-Fleet-

Best- Hmmm, either signing for GNFC Youth team or winning a Cup Final with Cobham.

Worst- (I see a pattern developing here) Being mugged!

Fleet related

Best: A tie: the De Bolla winner at St Albans; Sodje's winner against Oxford.

Worst: The atmosphere around the place & the dismal results as last season drew to a close.

 

Non Fleet related

Best: watching right wing fanatics across the Atlantic, Rumsfeld, Bolton et al crumble away.

Worst: dealing with a control freak in my team at work, who gets everybody's back up then expects me to support her because I'm her line manager.

Best: Full time football and some great wins

Worst: Attendances!? why, how, where!!!!????

Best: Winning the South Thames Cricket League / Christmas bonus

Worst: Selling my flat for substantially less than hoped for and/or reaching a quarter of a century!!! doh!

Fleet related

Best: The quality of full-time player we have managed to sign.

Worst: Attendances particularly at Skins testimonial where the players friends and relations almost outnumbered the crowd.

 

Non-Fleet

Best: My son finally found an interest outside of PS2 and PC games.

Worst: Our cat got cancer and had to be put down...not a happy time in the Bartfast household.

Best: De Bolla's strike to beat St Albans/winning the 50-50 draw at the Tamworth game!

Worst: Losing to Boreham Wood in the trophy, cold, wet, miserable day that was.

 

Non-Fleet

Best: Seeing the Wrens in London, Chicago and Hamburg in the space of about four months

Worst: Getting made redundant I suppose.

Best: The Oxford match, great game, people ejected, fleet win. What more can you ask for? and also winning the 50/50 with Jeff at the Tamworth game.

Worst: Just the general feeleing at the end of last season.

 

Non-Fleet

Best: New job, new house, nice little holiday

worst: Being sent to prison by a military court for a crime I didn't commit (mugging 2 people). I promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Gravesend underground. Today, still wanted by the government, I survive as a soldier of fortune. If you have a problem, if no-one else can help, and if you can find me, maybe you can hire the A-Team.

In fact, I don't remember anyone turning up for Andy Ford's testimonial this year.

Maybe he means Skins' testimonial where the attendance was even worse.


Both of the attendances were bad, I was expecting people to turn up in their thousands, instead 100-200 people attended each testimonial.
