Football Man - I wouldn't mind having 50p that you will be there just to be nosey.

I'm sure you do, I'll see you at the Herts FA AGM then on 12 June, mine's a pint of Fosters!

Football Man - I like the way you periodically come on during the course of a day in addition to early mornings before you leave for work, I assume you have access to the Forum at work and have it minimised on your computer screen. As I say I can read you like a book and wouldn't mind betting that you are at the Herts FA AGM on 12 June just to show your face and press the flesh.

If anyone is going in order to Hobnob, chances are there won't be any. A few Cream Puffs perhaps but I prefer to steer clear of them.

Personally, I like to boss the biscuits table but with the recent demise of the Burtons factory, home produced Jammie Dodgers may be off the menu. A sad day indeed.

This will be my first AGM and I'm very much looking forward to meeting some of you there, don't hesitate to come over and introduce yourselves with the magic words 'what you having'. Surely Caddington FC will put on a huge spread of sarnies, sausages, roast potatoes and such like as it will be a lucrative night for them with bar takings particularly if, as expected, it's a hot humid night, perhaps Football Man can give us one of his famous long range weather forecasts for 16 June.

For a start, clip Rods, the SSML AGM (unless it's changed recently) usually takes place in the morning so the bar would have to be open a very long time in order to make it a "lucrative night". The "spread", as I recall, was not the greatest and certainly not on the scale that we used to get at Kent Athletic. I'm pretty sure the buffet isn't a hot one. I don't even recall if they opened the bar when I last attended.

Well fair comment, I'm still expecting you to show up just to be seen. Actually I'm surprised that the SSML don't consider holding the AGM at Haringey Borough's Coles Park home, they would happily supply a banquet fit for a king although I suppose it is too far for the majority of Club's to travel.

I don't recall 'a spread' of any kind whatsoever at the Essex Senior League AGM. The Ryman AGM's at Staines FC are pretty good, the superb bar is very well stocked! The Conference AGM however is a 5 Star affair in a s[****!!****]y Hotel with a sumptious hot buffet and a selection of fine wines, but not a biscuit to be had.

Haha. Is that like Wembley, a public transport only destination?
