Quick question....

Recommended Posts

No preservation orders on the stand in my day, just the tree.

We re-seated large parts of the stand with seats I purchased from Southbury Road and Elm Park during 1998/99 to meet the Conference ground grading requirements.

In 2000 we did try to work with SADC to get the stand removed and replaced, but our efforts unfortunately met with little success.

They've reformed I think. They've dropped out of Ryman One North and will now play in the Essex Senior League. Think they're still playing at Ware.

Isn't that Lenny Piper between the A and the C?

Yes it is young Leonard. My dream of a new stand at Clarence Park never made it, but I did get to build one - a 550-seater - at Cressing Road as you'll see on August Bank Holiday Monday.

Will be there to see it and to see George in the stand of course.

I thought you needed 600 seats for the Conference. Even the 'dream that never was' only adds up to 558.
