As you all know I've been doing my Column in the Gazette for a few seasons now and although i'm more than willing to keep going with the column I feel a fresh perspective might be in order, especially as i'm not sure how many games I will be able to get to this coming season.

So I'm looking for someone who fancies having a go at it, either on a full or part time basis. Not a lot is involved and it only takes me about 30 minutes on a Monday morning to write my 200 words. Unfortunately it doesn't pay!!!

Any takers?

Surely Lovelystuff could be tempted to pick up the gauntlet?

I will miss your honest and up-front take on life at Goldsdown Road THM. I always enjoyed reading the views from 'The Horse's Mouth'.

How about asking a different supporter each week to put together a comment? People could make a commitment and the paper could then have 'a new perspective' each week.

Name of the articles - The Brimmo Broadside! The Town Cryer!

Mind you, I have enjoyed reading THM's honest appraisals each week and would look forward to reading them this year if you carry on.

I would like to see THM continue as well.

As I said. I can't now make every game, so anybody who fancies producing a few words can do so in my absence. If i'm there I don't mind commenting but it gets hard when you ain't there.

Send me a message if you fancy helping out.

Cheers Gazza! Anybody else fancy having a go when I ain't there. I can get a sort of writing circle going. So I have a few people to call upon if and when i need them.

Well so far I appear to have two volunteers to help me out. But anymore volunteers would be helpful.

Well done to Gazza for his Enfield Gazette debut this morning. It's good to see that like THM, you're not afraid of critising if you feel a player doesn't play well.

It's strange to see that the paper has stopped match reports from the Enfield (A1170) FC games.

Why is it strange? It is a local paper, called the Enfield Gazette. Why would it report on a newly-formed club based in Ware?
