There was a brief report on this one on another's Forum:

MFL Senior Cup 2 - 2pm @ Holland Park
Sloane 1 Hayes United 2 AET (That I didn't watch) - Att between 30 & 100 at any one time.

Beautiful setting for a fiesty game, Hayes losing a player for a two-footed lunch and then going a goal down with 3 minutes left. Equaliser came in 4th minute of injury time, at which point I left for Wembley.

5 minute walk from Holland Park tube and the only pitch in a large sports field surrounded by trees and posh houses. Great on a warm sunny day.

I'm sure the Gaffa was there.I was on other side of pitch not far from changing rooms.During 2nd Half 3 Bethnal players who had either been subbed or not played at all were having a right moan. One was saying that he did not get any encouragement while he wass out there, and another was moaning that their were colleagues on the pitch who were clearly not fit, but still out there playing before him.
As regards this weekend,Bedfont really need to pick up some points if they are to turn this season into something worthwhile for them.As it says in their match report, they could be the nearly men yet again in this division. They've always been there or thereabouts, but just unablt to get over that final hurdle over the last couple of seasons, especially 2 seasons ago. Will be a tough game against Hayes United this weekend, but knowing Bedfont, they may pull out a performance out of the ordinary, but they'll have to be on their game to to beat Hayes United.

Did not get to comment on weekend before as was away.Good win for Bedfont over Hayes United. Was disappointed that Hayes managed to blow a 2 goal lead too.Looks like (match report (on Bedfont's website)Hayes got complacent.Especially as the 2 goal hero for Bedfont was injured and was only planning on coming to watch the game as he was so unfit.Saw Hayes United's manager this evening and he admitted that team may have become complacent after going 2 up.U live & learn.

After these last 2 weekends, I really don't know who is going to win this League, which is great as everyone is capable of beating each other. As much as TT will hate to hear this, BGU are deffo going to be thereabouts.I still think Bedfont will miss out because their results are a bit too erratic because they undo all their good work against the big teams to drop points to teams lower down the table.I'm still hoping Hayes United will end up champions, but is anyone keeping an eye on Newham Borough, because they are really going about their business quietly.Good win over Park View in the Cup.

TRB, It's been all change in the TT household!! I hope you're sitting down when you read this, but I've changed my opinion about BGU and wish them all the best. My mate said that they are a decent team and he knows their manager - the Gaffa I assume. I'm not following Bedfont anymore but I thank them for pissing my mate off enough that he has sacked them off and is now back playing rugby with me!

Yep that's the one. He got shafted by Bedfont Sports.

Rhodes, no, he says he doesn't know who Martin Ash is. Should he? Should I? Should anyone?
