American FLEET FAN No1
Now all the Club have to do is be able to pay for it, whilst maintaining a high enough level of Football to get enough people to go watch them! A great day to release the news though!
Claudius
Yes.Where are the numbers? Some numbers? Any numbers? There are pros and cons with every single project. A new stadium for Eufc could surely break the club once and for all IF not everything is VERY well planned and thought out so on and on. What are the costs? Who will pay,and how much? A new stadium costs MONEY..and that

Claudius
Unless someone else is bankrolling the whole bloody thing..Eufc cannot afford a new stadium. 100% down to the council then I guess. What will the average Gravesham inhabitant say about this then? Remember,he/she doesn

billy nick
The club has some serious financial problems to deal with at the moment, i think we can all agree on that. I'm sure everyone would like to know how any new stadium would be paid for. If its a council project any news from them.

kaizen
Also closer to the A2 for supporters travelling in by car.... Can't say I've heard too many complaints about it...
Chopper TN
How good would the parking be at the new site (as compared to Stonebridge Road with Ebbsfleet Station nearby)?
Claudius
Locations then not a big problem I take it. However..money should be. WHO will pay? What about maintenance and other stuff? I personally wouldn

billy nick
I wouldn't say it was much nearer the town center at all. And the proposed new site dosn't have the luxury of a station nearby. The move may suit some fans but not others, but thats the nature of the beast. A survey to find out how many fans travel to games by train might be in order. And does anyone think this move would effect the Eurostar sponsorship?
Big J R
Whilst I applaud the finding of a new site, I can't help but think that finance, especially in the current climate will be a major problem. You've only got to look at the fiasco over the ever increasing costs after we won the Olympic bid - Something we will still be paying for in ten years time ! Hempstead Gaz
Abuse and insults, Clawd. That's always your stock answer to any debate. all it shows is that you are losing the debate rather than engaging in an intelligent conversation. Claudius
What debate,oh BIG BANNER from creepy "official" forum? There is no debate, only facts. Or are you about to rewrite history so it fits you? I wouldn
Hempstead Gaz
Why ask the qusetions when the answers are already well known to everyone associated with the club, and you clearly know the answers yourself? And who is paying for the stadium? The answer to that lies on the Fleet website - published some time ago. Don't worry Clawd, not a penny of your
Chopper TN
Everything that I ever read on the subject on here was the debt was around 50k per month, but since nobody ever saw the due dilligence that was allegedly done before the purchase of EUFC by MyFC, but we will never really know. The opportunity was there to get the financials in line over a year ago, but when people tried to something about it, they were banned, ridiculed, and bullied by the likes of Harry, Artheon (sp.), and Jeff (Barda). The chickens are coming home to roost and it is turning out the ones who were banned and others like Les and Uncle Urchin were correct the entire time. I feel sorry for Ebbsfleet United, the club, but not sorry for the "Moonies" and stazi of MyFC. You reap what you sow.

Abuse and insults HG, you talk like you don't dish them out. I have not been abusive to you on here, in fact i thought you might make a good moderator over on the happy forum and told you so, but i was wrong. You have one persona on here and another over there. http://www.eufcforum.com/forum/topic/the-other-forum "Had to chuckle at that berk Billy Nick, still asking me questions on a site that he knows I am banned from posting on or even viewing. What is he on?" Thats just one of your posts, yet you lecture others about intelligent debate Christ i asked you a question 3 days ago and repeated it another couple of times, but you ignore it as your debate has dried up. I asked about Darter and others having their posts made invisable on the happy forum, again no answer!!!! Hardly debate hey Gaz? The trouble is with alot of you fleet fans is you have convinced yourselves we are all troublemakers, you have lots of terms to describe us, but you can't see the woods for the tree's. Nearly everything we predicted would happen on MYFC HAS HAPPENED We warned you that their would be a massive drop in membership, for our pains we were ridiculed. The operator and the useless board have been more than happy to withold information from the membership, the ruling elite didn't deem us worthy to know, but we bank rolled the whole show. Now if they are happy to withold info from the so called owners, they are happy to withold it from you!!!! For the past year we have been consistant in our stance for total transparency for the benefit of members and fans alike. But you still don't get it, never mind MYFC day's are numbered and you can look back on this time and reflect that you had this massive gift horse pouring money into your club, and you kicked it into touch!!! Funny, I'm sure they're the same things WE all said at the time of the takeover.... why do you think we were so concerned with the buyout.... Why do you think that a lot of us chose not to join until we could see how it was going to pan out?
Chopper TN
And that's fair. Hindsight is 20/20, but questions do remain. We shall see with the full board in place what happens next.
