Also to clear a point raised,(external of this site) the ref we use does not ask to be paid to inspect the pitch but this is the clubs offer to thank him for his time & it is less expensive than getting the match referee to inspect and then having to possibly pay half his fee.

Aargh, I was hoping for an easy 'trip' to Bookham v Chess & Hook. Not many alternatives left and it's been raining steadily in Farnborough all day so Ash & Badshot may well fall. Even the Ryman games are in doubt, currently clutching at Carshalton v Horsham.....

Hate Tuesday's without football! Forecast not looking too good for the rest of the week, so may be doubt over some of Saturday's games.

 

Badshot Lea have 23 League games and Colliers Wood 22 games to play in the remaining two and a half months of the season. How have Hanworth managed to get to 30 already?!

 

Farnham have a similar problem in Div 1, having only played 20 games against some clubs on 27. At least they have lights.

I remember a few years agao a Brazilian side had to play three games in one day to complete their season. Fortunatley they had a sqaud of over 70, so they had no problem fulfilling the fixtures.

Lovely day today, bright sun and clear skies After seeing the pitch at Wwestfield last night, I doubt the reserve game will be home against Knaphill. It was seriously waterlogged
