Some sticky pitches tonight after this rain - how many of the following games are likely to be off?

 

Premier Division

Ash United v Chertsey Town

Badshot Lea v Raynes Park Vale

Bookham v Chessington & Hook

Egham Town v Colliers Wood Utd

Horley Town v Banstead Athletic

Molesey v Sandhurst Town

Wembley v North Greenford Utd

Hmm I think a few will fall due to the weather. It woke me up at 2.30am in Wweybridge area and just got to work in Egham/Staines and everywheres flooded and is still lashing down! I think it's also due for most of the day isn't it?

Aldershot Senior Cup, South Farnborough v Cove (at Cove) POSTPONED (trying again on Thursday)

Aldershot Senior Cup, Farnham Town v Overton United POSTPONED (new date tba)

 

Pitch inspections at Molesey (v Sandhurst) and Bedfont Sports (v Mole Valley SCR) Neither match looking hopeful according to home clubs

HI ALL,

 

WITH THE WEATHER (RAIN) BEING WHAT IT IS, I DOUBT THERE WILL BE MANY GAMES ON TONIGHT. FROM READING THIS THREAD IT APPEARS THAT THE MOLES HAVE ALREADY CALLED OFF THEIR GAME AGAINST SANDHURST, SHAME BECAUSE THATS ANOTHER TOP 6 FIXTURE. CAN'T BE ASKED TO GO THROUGH ALL THE TRAFFIC TO WEMBLEY ALTHOUGH WEMBLEY HAVE BEEN ON A GOOD RUN AND NGU SLIPPED UP SATURDAY SO COULD BE INTERESTING.

 

HORLEY'S PITCH IS NORMALLY GOOD WITH BAD WEATHER, SO THAT'S ONE POSSIBILITY. ASH, EGHAM AND BOOKHAM (DORKING) I CANNOT SEE THESE BEING ON SORRY. THAT LEAVES BADSHOT LEA, I DOUBT THIS TOO WILL BE ON IF FARNBORO' HAVE THEIR WAY AS LANDLORDS, SO WILL JUST HAVE TO LEAVE IT TO THE LAST MINUTE TO SEE WHERE TO GO OR FORGET TONIGHT AND WATCH MAN. UTD vs AC MILAN ON THE BOX IN THE WARMTH OF MY HOME ! ..............MMMMNNNNN DECISIONS, DECISIONS !

 

IF YOU GUYS COULD KEEP US UPDATED THAT WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Yes BJR not sure when he's inspecting but it has been arranged I believe.

 

Also to clear a point raised,(external of this site) the ref we use does not ask to be paid to inspect the pitch but this is the clubs offer to thank him for his time & it is less expensive than getting the match referee to inspect and then having to possibly pay half his fee.
