South Midlands Reserve Floodlit Cup Semi Final

Cockfosters Reserves v St Margaretsbury Reserves

Looks like St Mags won 3-2 in this!

st mags keeper was outstanding

Was it Matt Deamer?, if yes, Matt superb young keeper started at the club as an U13.....

I have to agree with you on this one. The St Mags keeper pulled off one of the best saves I have seen in a long time to prevent it going 3-3.

Agreed Matty was MOM without a doubt.....fair play to fosters who went to the end. good luck for the rest of the season.

What was this blokes defence in court?

He must have claimed some mitigating circumstances for his deception? (not that any are acceptable - obviously)

living in MK was his major one coffee%20(2).gif

LOL - according to the BBC he lied "to avoid a training session."

Obviously "I am stuck at work" or "It is my moms birthday" would not have been considered sufficient......

And now he lives in Norfolk. You know it's bad when they have to move to Norfolk.

I am in the squad but likely to be on the bench, he likes to use my age as an excuse to 'rest' me wink.gif

(And regarding removal of posts and threads, anything that can be considered libelous, offensive etc could leave the board administrators open to action. So when things possibly go too far, I get bored with the rantings or people complain then they will be removed)

The game was 6 years ago. Since then Berkhamsted Town have folded. The current Berkhamsted FC is a new club and has nothing to do at all with the previous club. What sort of welcome did Padbury give him last season as he would have played against you for Bletchley Town.-

They are a totally new set up so I am not sure they would have known. I am sure it is something he would have been unlikely to mention anyway.

A couple of players who knew him may have known but kept schtum I suppose. If he was genuinely remorseful you can see why they may have done but that is just conjecture on my part.

Keeps - Your post reminded me of the Style Council's record from the 80's, 'Come To Milton Keynes', the lyrics say it all really don't they:

May I walk you home tonight

On this fine and lovely night tonight

We'll walk past the luscious houses,

Through rolling lawns and lovely flowers

Our nice new town where the curtains are drawn

Where hope is started and dreams can be borne.

Let us share our insanity

Go mad together in community

Boys on the corner looking for their supper

Boys round the green looking for some slaughter

We used to chase dreams now we chase the dragon

Mine is the semi with the union jack on.

In our paradise lost we'll be finding our sanity

In this paradise found we'll be losing our way

For a brave new day.

May I slash my wrists tonight,

On this fine conservative night tonight

I was looking for a job so I came to town

I easily adopt when the chips are down

I read the ad about the private schemes

I liked the idea but now I'm not so keyne. May I walk you home tonight

On this fine and lovely night tonight

We'll walk past the luscious houses,

Through rolling lawns and lovely flowers

Our nice new town where the curtains are drawn

Where hope is started and dreams can be borne.

Let us share our insanity

Go mad together in community

Boys on the corner looking for their supper

Boys round the green looking for some slaughter

We used to chase dreams now we chase the dragon
