In the other games, favourites Spennymoor won as did Tunbridge Wells. The other game Shildon v Ascot was also a draw.

CCL have NOT made any decision as yet as far as the Sunday LEAGUE game is concerned according to latest communication I received this afternoon.

Had a great day out in Walsall, was great to catch up with the Manelanders and fellow Guernsey residents. Was a bit too quick a visit to the Wood as we had to get our flight back. But there are a very friendly bunch up there and I hope they have a good season, apart from on Saturday evening!

 

Wood had the better chances and Guernsey had Tardif to thank for some top notch saves. Having said that Rihoy and then Heaume missed golden chances right at the end.
