A very interesting Sports Shots preview on this one tomorrow and, for a change, lengthy and probing interview with the Amersham Town supremo Dwaine Bryan who, as he says, we don't know that much about:

It looks like the 'Pep Guardiola of Non League' has found his feet doesn't it, a late 88th minute goal from David Parkinson wins it for Biggleswade United:

That's pretty good too isn't it for Shefford Town & Campton, any idea why as their last attendance against Park View was only 49

I wonder whether Leverstock Green will ever produce a match report at 5.00pm or 9.45 after a midweek game:

320? I thought there was a 300 cap for ALL games at Step 5?

1 hour ago, Winslow Boy said:

Excellent. Hopefully they all continue to come and pick up some more on the way.

Step 5 cap at 300 so they're at thier max already. They're one of the few clubs at this level who are going to suffer from a 300 cap limit.

The figure includes 20 club officials who are exempt from the 300 limit

Weird, I've not seen crowds of over 300 or any capped capacity, its all 300 spot on.

Seems the only reason they've done it is to boost the attendance, if that's the case there were 170 at least at SJP last night!

Scott Reynolds will no doubt be over the moon with his side's performance at McMullen Park yesterday and keeping a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw against team of the moment Bedford. Sorry to outdo Motty (Karen) but I gather it was Buckingham Athletic's first competitive 0-0 draw since 23 February 2019 when they drew 0-0 at Hatfield Town, also they have only conceded one goal in five League fixtures so far this season under Scott who worked really hard during pre-season to get where he is now:

A groundhopper from another Forum was at the game, he only counted 130 but even that is good, was it because Langford isn't a million miles away although surely not many would have travelled from Forde Park:

Shefford Town and Campton 5 Langford 1
Spartan South Midland League, Division One
Shefford Sports Club
Admission: £5
Programme: None
Attendance: 130 h/t

Nothing in the Vase took my fancy and with Covid causing games to be called off, did not want to drive far so went to my closest Step 6 ground that I had not visited, so a 170 mile round trip to Shefford.
What I found was a class team, played great football and scoring 5 goals with the final one, a chip of the keeper being the pick of the lot.
Langford probably had most of the ball or at least as much as Shefford but they were easily second best when it came to finishing.
The ground is basic and very modern, a good clubhouse, (great covid drills, table service) and two small stands, one with seats. large car park and excellent pitch, which was fully railed.
Ground is above the village and with little protection from the elements, glad that I was not visiting on a wet cold day.

Our attendance against Biggleswade yesterday (320) was the highest in the country this weekend!!

You're only allowed 300 unless you're including all committee members in a attempt to get over 300?
