Commenting in peace - no signings by our lot yet...

He may very well prove me completely wrong, but at 34 and never having delivered at Step 2, I think I'd prefer Liam Nash to Joe Taylor.

No offence taken.

Quality never deserts. Sam Higgins is a perfect example in non league and Jamie Vardy is another example. So a great signing, lets see what Joe brings to the team. It may be his time to shine!

Nashy was a great player for us, and will always be a fans favourite. With everything in life there is a time to move on and experience new challenges, so I wish him well and hope to see him play again, but comparing him and against a striker is not a proper comparison.

Understood. I think we all know what Joe Taylor will bring from our time in the Isthmian playing against him. He'll be a target man, so perhaps a little different to what you've had recently, and might allow you to go more direct when necessary. Seems pretty fair to compare him to Sam Higgins.

Ruffy..........interesting!

I was speaking with his dad at Chelmsford away and he said Charlie didn't want to play full-time and I think that is Chelmsford's aim this year
