Not too sure about the return but know he is with us he should get the same level of support as the rest of our team.

Exactly! Well said LS.
David had a good steady game today, some nice first time touches and good regular crosses into the penalty area. Well done David.

If Dave adds to the team, then fine. If not, then I am sure that we will soon find out. Everyone's on a high from yesterday so let's keep it that way.

You have a lot to prove Dave and a lot of doubters. Can you show us all that you want to play for the team and its supporters?

Welcome back Disco Dave.

I class Dave as a great player, and was sad to see him go.

Dave, may have attitude, but as long as he uses that attitude on the picth, i cannot worry. He was a slow starter with us but got better.

Here's to Dave, and his disco boots.

Talking of having players back and where are our goals going to come from , The player i would most like to see back in an Enfield Town shirt is Billy "THE CAT" Cove . great player great entertainer and one of my top 5 ETFC players . BRING BACK THE CAT . AND PLUS I BELIEVE HE LOVED OUR CLUB .

Billy, Ian Cooper & Smithy. THAT was the best front line at the Town to date. Between the three of them they had everything.

Billy dust them boots off & come back & have some fun with the Town. You always played with a smile and i dont think ive seen a forward with a better footballing brain in the ESL. Go on you know it makes sense. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/excited.gif" alt="" />

i AM WITH YOU ON THIS ONE FELLAS BILLY COVE IS THE BEST PLAYER I HAVE SEEN AT TOWN , MIGHT NOT OF BEEN THE HARDEST WORKER BUT I SAW HIM DO THINGS WITH A BALL THAT I COULD ONLY DREAM ABOUT ! COVE SMITH AND COOPER WOULD WALK INTO ANY RYMAN CLUB AND I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM BACK TOGETHER !

I wouldn't class Cooper as one of our best ever forwards. He satrted very well but when the pitches got heavier he didn't perform. cove was great but ALL players must be avaible for training. As for a certain Mr Smith. His confidence has dipped but after hitting four on Saturday I wouldn't be surprised if he eclipses Danny clarke as our top ever forward at some point in the near future.

First of all, How can you say Cooper was not good enough for ETFC when he has performed consistantly at a higher level since leaving us.

Smith is a better all round player than Clarke, but i very much doubt he will score over 70 goals in under 115 games.

Allen wanted to play Ryman football more than he wanted to play for Ilford of EFC.He found the grass isn't always greener and he's back playing for his local club.

Many ETFC fans on here are judging players by their personalities rather than their ability to win football matches.
