Justin Edinbrough

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if you've heard any rumours over your way about Justin becoming our new manager?

I know 2 people who spotted him leaving the station yesterday and one of our local bookies Parsons has stopped taking bets on him. Is he any good?

I mean I can understand that he want's to better himself at a bigger club in a higher division but I was kind of hoping for somebody with a better track record.

Can anyone help me out

Lets see...

1) Your club got thrown out of the F A Cup.

2) You are not doing very well in the league this season, in fact by next May you'll be relegated

3) By next may we'll be promoted.

4) Club looks as if it is need of demolition

4) Run by and supported by a bunch of losers.

Hmmmmm, coming to manage St. Albans doesn't look that attractive from that angle...Hey Thornsey, hand out those drugs the doctor put you on mate, it may look better from your angle...

...Nope, still doesn't look any better. Perhaps you should change club, county, gender, species mate or sexual preferences...and get a life and support a decent team.

Oi! Don't shoot the messenger just come on to ask the question but as suspected Gazza launches into another rather unfunny tirade, why not go the whole hog and call me gay

So we got thrown out the FA Cup, you can imagine the senario - Hiya Justin here is some cash to manage a Conference South team and Justin says "I'm not joining you as you were thrown out the FA Cup", it won't happen.

I'd be more worried about securing promotion than us getting relegated if I were you, I know we're good enough to stay up but your hardly setting the world alight.

Anyway he kept himself away from the supporters and the clubhouse last night when he was at the park (scouting, one must presume) and the rumour I heard was he wouldn't leave until you were out the FA Cup anyway - So you better beat Stevenage

Oh dear Thronsey, touched a nerve?

He was quite probably scouting. We're interested in out and out wingers and as your in the relegation zone, I would imagine he belives that he may think that some of your players are "game" for a move. That, or he just facied watching a game as we didn't have one yesterday.

As for leaving when we get "dumped" out of the FA Cup...well, it's his team so he better insipire us to beat Stevenage. And I don't think he is that fickle. He wants to win the league or at least gain promotion.

As for calling you gay. Did I? I never did. I said "chage your sexual preference". It's you that jumped towards "calling me gay". Me thinks, there is someyhing lurking in the dark depths of your locker, me old mucker. Come on, tell yer Uncle Gazza. We're all friends here, promise I won't tell...well...

Hi Gazza.

EFMTFTV can speak for himself, of course, but for my part I was intrigued at a message posted on the confguide board [by someone unknown to me] with odds on the runners and riders for the managerial vacancy at Clarence Park.

In addition to several former players who are known to have thrown their caps into the ring, there were some obvious names in there including Craig "Route 1" Edwards, Borg who wont last at Braitree of course, and the guy from Hendon.

Among the number was Justin Edinburgh however. With the greatest respect he wouldn't be my first choice notwithstanding his outstanding record with The Mighty Shrimpers. I was intrigued, however, as I wouldn't have thought to include him on any list of possibles. I came on here to see if there is any local comment and there isn't apart from the abuse, of course!

One of your lot came on our board and mentioned Bertie Brayley and I should clear up a misunderstanding that I may have created.

I am following the fortunes of t'lad simply because it came to my attention from a badly worded Braintree press release that, as I read the thing, he had carefully considered the integrity and good faith of the Board of the Iron and decided to join Ricay.

Good luck to you lot from me this season and especially against Stevenage.

Us? We are having a tough time at the moment as someone has outlined up above. I came to terms with it pre-season so it's all right for me, but the right new man has every chance of turning it round.
