Fer chrissake you lot, get real, £6 £5 £4 £2 what does it matter?????? You'll pay much more than the difference in fare/petrol/diesel in getting there, and probably fork out much more on programmes, burgers, beer, raffles, golden goal and 50/50 tickets and so on!

Gawd 'elp us! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/doah.gif" alt="" />

We go to Romford we dont get ripped off.

We go to Hullbridge we dont get ripped off.

We go to any club in the ESL we dont get ripped off.

We go to EFC and .......................

As LS says they reckon they can charge £6 for a Ryman 2 game! Now that is a rip off. Why encourage cheapskates!

Invis. You only go to two games a season <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/drivin.gif" alt="" />. Some of us have to scrape together enough for two games a WEEK.

You mean Monday morning- I can't believe your attitude on this Steph- I'd pay whatever it took - I wouldn't miss this for the world- the biggest game for both sides since Preston. £6 is the normal entrance fee, £2 less than last season don't forget! Let me say now, if there's a replay charge as much as you like - I'll still be there.

Small point but its only EFCs biggest game since Preston as ETFC didnt exist then, you accuse some people of trying to steal history and then you try to give it away.
but that was a great day. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I'd be careful there old son...I have heard we are putting our prices up to £7 for the first leg. I am sure this will be substantiated at some point. Oh and a fiver for kids. Well I agree, if Yeading can do it so can we! Make the best of bad thing and laugh it off????? Every picture tells a story don't it..every pic...ad nauseum.....

This is not the biggest game since Preston. Since then we have had Leyton Away, Hendon MSC final, Ilford (7-2), Last Saturday and countless others, Including, BTW, a thrashing of EFC in some minor cup competition.

This is another Vase tie which means there are another 4 games before this becomes interesting.

Just shows how low EFC have sunk.

I actually wont be going as I did not like the inference that we would get a "share of the gate". Surely ETFC are entitled to 50% of the gate minus the refs expenses. Just cos you have to pay Ware that is your problem.

There is just a nasty sticky feeling about EFC in the way that you charged £8 for EFC v Hemel Hempstead at Haringey Borough. You tell me what share ETFC will get of the gate and I will contribute that to ETFC so that they dont make a financial loss on my not being there.

As for Romford charging £7 well I have 6 ladders that are easily portable so there is a potential £30 you will lose. At the game against Concorde I suspect that there were less than 150 there. Do not kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Oh and binoculars BTW!

Well, 400 miles worth of diesel a time is more than the pound difference you're all whingeing about!

To be fair, a couple of 400 mile round trips is a drop in the ocean to the amount of games regular supporters travel too.Every away game is normally a 40-100 mile round trip in the ESL.

That's not meant as a criticism by the way. I know you were as dedicated as any of us when you lived in Enfield.I'm just saying,it can get expensive.Although i admit that anyone who decides to miss the game for the sake of a £1 must be mad.

Steph. We need every supporter we can get over at Ware on Sunday. Both teams will get the correct amount of money that the FA has santioned. No more no less.

Also, you're saying that the vase will only get interesting in 4 games time. That the semi-final.Blimey, you're hard to please.

Regarding 'coupwotcoups' £7 jibe. I believe he was just trying to be sarcastic and wind you up.

Out of that £6 entrance fee. I'm certain that no more than £4 will go to EFC, so you would be paying them no more than you would to any ESL team.

I believe your in danger of cutting off you're nose to spite your face. I personaly feel you will be letting down our players AND our fans,by boycotting the game.

So if there's a replay can you guarantee us 50% of the gate then?

Entirely different people in charge then as you well know Steph- I don't like the way you're infering that it's not.

Going to Hemel Hempstead v Bath City today - I'll see how much they charge for a team that is two levels above either team playing tomorrow.

I dont think that ETFC should get 50% of the gate I didn't say that they should. However why should the away team pay for the expenses of putting on the game? When the home side get programme sales, usually the whole of the raffle take and club refreshments etc. It is reasonable for the away side to pay their share of the ref's expenses, lino etc. perhaps gatemen but Ware will be charging you for the game and if you had your own ground that would be cheaper. If there was a replay I would not expect you to pay for any of Brimsdown charges (if any).

As for different people - as you keep saying it is the same club with the same history!

I used to go to all home and away games when I lived in Enfield! In fact it's time as much as anything now. I've a horrible feeling I'm not going to be able to get down for the game tomorrow after all, as I have a deadline on Monday.

I presume that minimum admission prices and how to divvy up the gate receipts are laid down by the FA. This of course assumes that the correct gate figure is given....................
