There's a lot of pessimism about the game, bearing in mind we're all of 20 minutes apart by bus and it's on a saturday. Obviously its proximity to crimbo might not help, but it's a fact that more shopping is now done on a sunday than any other day of the week, so anyone using that excuse should grow up and get to the game of the year.

 

As for sobriety, before, certainly, during, hopefully, after, nay frickin chance.

Not a chance. There is no way the gate will exceed 400 no way. Game of the year? Yeah, maybe for us 'hardcore' Urchin fans and the Boro fans but hardly for a disrespecting non league onlooker. As for taking 250, we haven't taken 250 away all season and that wasn't the week before Christmas when it's freezing cold. I don't think we've taken 250 anywhere since Boston! Ok maybe Grays but...

Whatever, those in attendance tomorrow will sing their hearts out for the lads. Every game we play is massive, but bearing in mind Romford seem to be able to get a few through the gates, then there's a chance of a few there.

 

It will be cold, but it should also be nice and sunny for the first half and who the hell wants to trawl around the shops when there's a game to be watched?

 

It MUST also help that world of Sport isn't on anymore, that wrestling was so addictive.

180 odd at Brentwood was pretty suprising considering the time of year and Brentwood are not a huge rival or big team (by ESL standards)
