Innuendo
Hello everyone My name is Piotrek and I live in Poland. I'm a collector of footballers' photos with their autographs. Today I decided to write a letter to the famous Russian goalie, Dmitry Kharin. I got to know (during previous holidays AFAIR) that he's a player of your club - Hornchurch. I wanted to check if he's still playing here and unfortunately I didn't find his name on "Statistics" page at Hornchurch's website. Therefore I'd like to ask you - where does Dmitry currently play? Do any of you have any contact with him you could possibly share with me? And tell me please - how was his adventure with your club? He's a really famous footballer, he played in the major clubs like Chelsea and Celtic - so probably he was a star in Hornchurch, wasn't he? Was he fired, ended his career, was transferred to the other club...? I hope you won't treat this topic as spam. If I broke any of forum's rules - I'm extremely sorry. Also please forgive me making any mistakes - I'm learning 2 languages currently (English & French) and they're starting to mix in my head a little I'm waiting for any answer - thanks in advance! Nette
Dmitry Kharin is now a goal keeping coach at Luton FC, and as far as I know he's happy and enjoying it there, hope that helps
Innuendo
URCHINETT: so he ended his playing career, yes? And is the info about Luton absolutely sure? P.S. So Hornchurch are "the Urchins"? Nice

Bionic II
Innuendo me ol'mucker, thanks for the enquiry. Dmitri is a smashing bloke who played for us intermittently for 9 months. Yes, he was sent off in his first game against Berkhamsted, and in the 87 minute, approx, he was kicked and reacted accordingly. Dmitri is a gentleman and his wife and son often sat next to me on matchdays. You really had to see Dmitri on a Thursday night, coaching the keepers, to appreciate what he did. Rain or shine, he needed just a small area and the goalies were put through their paces. Topman, Dmitri!
Innuendo
Ehh, unfortunately my "casual" English isn't too good and I can't understand a few phrases... Would do these ones mean: "nah, thats treeboy mate!" "Innuendo me ol'mucker" "a smashing bloke" ??? "You really had to see Dmitri on a Thursday night, coaching the keepers" -> so did Luton play with Hornchurch...? Or did you watch Luton at TV? Sorry for such a lack of knowledge A few other questions from a foreigner: How big crowd is there usually on your matches? What are the major achievements of Hornchurch? Do you have any famous players or coaches, raised in team?
Urchin_Rat_Man
1st phrase means "no that is tree boy my friend" 2nd phrase means "Innuendo my friend" 3rd phrase means "a good man" and the refernce to Thursday night was when he used to watch them train at Hornchurch. The crowds vary from anything from 250 - 700 in a league mactch, up to 3,500 for a big FA cup match. And we have Paul hetchin does he count? Anyone from Premiership/Division One? Why did Luton train at Hornchurch? Are they on some kind of camp? Can't understand - the season's going on, isn't it?
