i reckon we need 3 players at most,i would of said 6/7 after soham game but i think the players we have have come on so much in last few months, and as for enfield, they didn't win the esl as convincingly as we did,not knocking them but we have a much stronger squad,i think the esl players on here will back me up

23 to 25 - so the re-signing of NTRSW and 1ITT could be on the cards

Thanks Ian, I'll get our agent to get in touch with the management.

I hope they come up with a lucrative package?

For me that would be no money at all and just the privellage of wearing the shirt!!!

i think with the team we had we may of struggled to start with in a league above but i think with the additions to the squad and the way some of the players have come on we would of held our own in league above in the end, with 2 or 3 more classy players i would expect us to do well next season

plus, if we'd gone in a league higher, we'd have nicked all of their best players, so we could have been having this same conversation on the southern board.

To be honest chaps, I personally thought it was easier playing in the southern league - the standard and fitness is higher (and refereeing), but most of the teams wanted to play football.

I think the ESL is a pretty tough league cos if you can't mix it then it doesn't matter how good your players are the chances are you will drop points.

I Think your lot will do well next season and hope you do !

agree mate there not all great in the southern but there are quite a few good ones but the esl is bad every week!

There was a game where the refereeing was that bad in the esl i even said to myself once,if it is going to be like this week in week out i would rather not play as the ref was that bad that day.He just made the game pointless.

The soham game was a case in point as to the strength in other leagues, but we could and probably should have been up at half time and if that's been the case, we would have probably won.

The key thing with any team is a solid core. Our defense is superb, especially now Jordan is back to add a bit of pace. Centre mids like the Cowleys can hold their own above this league and we have four very capable forwards. This is where you build from.

I say this lot should be brought forward and given every chance to prove themselves, as the season pans out you make your changes from there.

Some good points made. Good to see that leagues elswhere at our level were addressed.

If we played Soham tomorrow I'd hope that we'd be able to beat them as the team has come miles since we played them last. However, just look where they sit in their league; mid table... You've also got to look at our performance against cocknose. But like I said we played them a long time ago and things have changed...

I think this team would do well next year in either the Ryman or SL however we need a few additions if we really want to push for promotion.

Interesting Topic considering we still have one cup final to do "The Treble", as I am sure we would not want to upset the team balance.

some questions that we should consider,
1)who of our team wants to stay?
2)Who does JL want to stay?
3)Any ex urchins who want to come back, who JL wants?
apart from that, does it really matter as long as they show the committment that our squad have shown over the last year?

the league cup final is not an issue diggsy as we are talking about next season....

in answer to your questions I would assume these answers

all of them

all of them

no

agreed...

Interesting reply, I might wager a small bottle of red on those!
