Some upsetting news for Stu M - and fans of Diss Town.

Former Norwich City player Cedric Anselin has left Diss Town without even kicking a ball in the Ridgeons League.

Midfielder Anselin (pictured) signed for the Tangerines during the summer from Dereham Town and featured in their pre-season friendlies against Kirkley & Pakefield and Lowestoft Town.

Diss manager Robert Taylor has said that the former French under-21 international decided he could not give the commitment necessary during the season as his wife is pregnant.

Didn't he know that a few weeks ago when he played in the friendlies then?

Cedric's going to find it very difficult to hold down a job when he eventually retires from playing football. Assuming he hadn't retired from playing years ago.
