Dagenham & Redbridge

We were poor today.

At the back, we were quality and it just shows how important MacCarthy is to our side.

Midfield was poor, lacked creation, ball retention skills and 8 times out of 10 resorted to an aimless longball, Quinn being the only real exception.

Macdonald didn't look himself upfront, but his movement still looks a constant threat.

Plus if it wasn't for Lance with them two quality saves, we would of lost the match.

On the whole though, not dissappionted with a point and would of took the point before the game.

9 games unbeaten, more than what any Fleet fan could of wished for.

Bring on the sky cameras at Weymouth!

A reaonable ref yesterda for a change - didnt have much to worry about admittedly, but good to see him talking to the players and not simply waving cards. Not sure why Quinn was booked though

I agree, an excellent ref, I thought the game was very competitive, generally played in good spirit, which helped the ref, I would not underestimate his contribution to the match.

I would be surprised if both managers were not happy with him, how often does that happen?

I thought that Dagenham were very quick, skilful, determined and very competitive, the route one style, swift breaks from defence, made them very dangerous. On chances they probably edged the game on points, the fleet however had the chance of the match, unlucky macca not able to finish off our best move in the game, well played the keeper.

Taking all into consideration, the defensive unit were excellent, the clean sheet confirms the great team ethic that the fleet have, we should not undervalue the tireless work from the midfield unit, who were always winning for me the second ball out of the defence Quinny, Jon Keeling, Mark De Bolla and Slats all at some time put in some brave tackles, there was a lot of pressure applied by the Daggers with the route one philosophy, it may not have been the fashionable side of midfield play, but still a sterling effort, a little disjointed as the forwards lacked support at times, you cant have everything every week. It was hard work for the forwards but they did their bit as well. It was a great performance for me, under severe pressure at times, well done lads, a point won.

Oh, and guess what, our 9 goal topscorer, was only getting criticised for what he hasnt got in the art of goalscoring, 9 games unbeaten, playing good sides week in and week out, I tell you some of our supporters are still not happy, I wonder where they are coming from and why do they bother, what a miserable existence, I pity the lady of the house and the offspring, very, very, sad.

Sasha played well today and didn't seem to have any trouble geting back into the side.

I felt he came on the pitch and played really well for 10 maybe 15 minutes, after that where did he go????
The Daggers were encamped down our left hand flank for nearly the whole of the last 20 minutes.
I felt he then ran out of steam, after his first 15 mintues on the pitch, and put our defence at unnecessary risk and under undeserved pressure. Is only a opinion of course. He came on miles to early I felt.

Charming.

Perhaps you'd care to elaborate on what a 'normal woman footballer' is, Mike?
